Game 1 Playoffs 1995 vs the Knicks.  Knicks up 6 with about 18 seconds to go.  Miller makes 8 points in 9 seconds.  And all that thrash talking vs Spike Lee.  Man, badaaaasssss Miller.  I love that guy...

On Westbrook.. As much as I cringe when Russel takes those jumpshots.. I still like him as a player and lalo na his energy. If he doesn't take those shots, Durant can't carry OKC alone so kelangan talaga mag score silang dalawa. Efficiency in shots na lang ang in question and decision making :P

he's a scoring point guard so ang magagwa na lang niya is to be more consistent. he can view tapes of isiah thomas to see what an epitome of a scoring point guard is. oh and magic johnson is also a scoring point guard. i remember when jabbar was injured in the finals and magic had to carry the load offensively and they won that game and series. these guys are unselfish but they know that there are times when they have to take and make the shots themselves

may napanood ako na video sa youtube, parang documentary about the NY Knicks and Spike Lee.

a day after that game, the NY media ripped Spike Lee into bits and pieces.

ginalit daw kasi si Reggie Miller  :D :D

Rip Hamilton? Please, the only time he's mentioned in the same breathe with Miller is because he's one of the best at moving around for a jumper. Yes, he's got the stamina to keep running and running until he gets open for a shot. He's not close to clutch as Miller, though.

+1

Reggie Miller is the master of clutch, hindi yan susuko hanggan hindi pa tapos ang laban.

I can't think of an NBA player right now that's like Miller, but locally, Allan Caidic was like Miller. Range, cunning and clutch that #8 was known in Asia.

Durant...hmmm...can't think of anyone to compare him to. Maybe a more-agile and longer James Worthy.

yeah, pwede nga siguro i-compare kay James Worthy with more offense.

i want to see Durant develop into a lethal lock down defender ala Scottie Pippen.

Para sa akin, Durant reminds me of Kevin Garnett in his younger Timberwolves Days.  Only better kasi he has a three point shot.

Aside from his game vs. the Knicks, there was also this game in the first round against the Nets where Reggie forced OT by throwing a fade away hail mary three about 6ft from the 3-pt line and banking it in!   :o

Then there's the MJ push off to nail a three to force OT or won the game.  Can't remember exactly.

clutch may be not, but moving without the ball, one of the best.. Detroit's lclutch then was Chauncey yata..

who's the better closer, Miller or Horry?

this too. i actually looked at KG when he was younger as a SF and not a PF. correct me if im wrong, but i think KG was criticized back then for not having a post game given his height and wingspan.

Miller pa din siguro, with Horry a close second.

i loved Horry's game when he was still with the Rockets. versatile slashing 6'9 - 6'10 SF/PF

Guys, Miller was a closer, Horry is just like Fisher, opportunistic clutch shooters. Big difference. You can expect Miller to carry the load the whole game while Fish and Big Shot Rob can't.

On May 25, 1998, the Pacers trailed the Bulls 2–1 in the series and were behind 94–93 in Game 4 at Market Square Arena in Indianapolis with 2.9 seconds left. Miller got free from Jordan, caught the inbounds pass from Derrick McKey, turned and made a game-winning 3-pointer with 0.7 seconds to go. The Pacers eventually pushed the series to a decisive Game 7 in Chicago.

LOL on ''opportunistic''  :D

yeah, gotta agree.. nice explanation there. but Big Shot Rob actually had more offense in his days with the Rockets. nung tumagal, parang tinamad na, lagi na lang nag aabang sa 3 point line.

More of knee sleeves.  I believe Durant has been sidelined before due to knee injury.  Baka yun yun.

di ko na yata naabutan yun, some said Bird was one of the best too..

But for me I think Ray Allen is the best pure shooter, and his form and stroke is just so smooth..

I would rate Bird, Chris Mullin and maybe Pistol Pete as my favorite shooters. But in a catch and shoot, Ray Allen and Miller would be hard to top. Bird and Miller gets extra props for talking trash and backing it up, though.

Baligtad ang nangyari, OKC swept Spurs in the next 4 games.  Down 3-2 ang Miami, sabi natin ala na kasi sa Boston ang Game 6.  Lebron answered with two consecutive huge games.

The other teams are also rebuilding.  Lakes I'm sure di papatalo yun.  So for next year, gagaling din ibang teams.  I think it's safe to say na one of them (OKC or Miami) will be back in the finals.

As for this series going to game 7, yan din prediction ko nun -- Miami in 7.  Pero parang hindi na aabot ;D ;D

Bah! OKC was down 0-2 and won the series versus SA. It's just 1-2 against them right now, so, the series is too close to call.
