sad to know UST lost a tight game to Ateneo.

anyway its turns out to be a good season for UST and Coach Jarencio despite all the negative criticisms that Pido should be replaced.

i hope they can land Jeron Teng next season plus another intimidating BIG man that can patrol the paint for the team.

a more polished Kareem Abdul, a bulked up Kevin Ferrer plus the very talented Jeron Teng will make UST a legitimate contender next season.

next season looks bright for the tigers. their newbies will definitely be improved by then. nonetheless, aside from improving their line-up, one thing they have to work on is their composure. this, i think, is what they lack. everytime they lose a big lead in the second half, they just seem to crumble and not recover from it. eventually, they end up losing the game.

improvement and maturity of their young players plus a better coach than pido will make the tigers a real contender. kung talent lang ng players at walang magandang sistema ang coach ang mangyayari, hindi sila legit na contender kung ganon. dapat matagal ng napalitan si pido, dahil sa nakapasok sila ng final 4 this season, ewan ko lang kung palitan pa yan.

di lang players ng ust ang mag i improve, pati yung ibang team siempre may mga young guns yan na maaring lumakas.pero ang coaching style at system, anjan na yan at mahirap na ma improve lalo na't nakasanayan na.

actually Coach Pido has been doin a decent job. Pyesa lng tlga ang kulang sa UST. On papers mas malakas pa sa knila ang NU at DLSU but they end up better.

Heard some news that Camus just played his final season with the Tigers (?) ....... if this is true, then UST's campaign next year could take a hit.

Camus is the glue-guy for the team with his overall hustle & improved scoring (much like Evangelista & Yee years back).

Hope the Jeron Teng news come true and he goes Black & Gold next season.

A bulked up Kevin Ferrer can fill up the shoes of Camus.
He's even better coz he has an offensive game to go along with his height.

if Camus leaves, that's going to be a big loss for UST.. Ferrer can't fill up the void Camus will leave at UST.. Camus is their best all-around guy.. he's a banger with a touch from the outside.. he can run on the break.. he's solid on defense.. all-out palagi.. Ferrer is a perimeter player.. he always has been kahit nung high school pa.. he's a lot like Mirza dati.. Camus is a lot like Rey Evangelista or Edmund Reyes.. Camus can have an impact on the game even if he doesn't score.. si Ferrer, mapapansin mo lang pag pumutok..

Ferrer is indeed more offensively-gifted than Camus and will likely take his spot & minutes by next season (should Camus be gone next season).

However, Camus rebounds, defends & hustles like it's going out of style ..... brings intangibles that dont show up on stat sheets ..... makes some timely hits also. Hope he has a year or two left for the UAAP.

he will most likely take the 4 spot if Jeron Teng playing the 3 spot so its a must that Ferrer bulks up during the off season and prepare hard for the next UAAP Wars.

he should project himself playing like Dirk Nowitski since he has a decent outside game.

what an endgame! FEU is going back to the Finals.. they forced Adamson to play away from their game plan and I think, yung gigil ng Adamson na makapasok sa Finals ang nagpahirap sa kanila.. that 3-guard combo by FEU is lethal lalo na pag gumawa lahat.. I feel bad for Canada.. he gave it his all.. just too late..

it's going to be an interesting Finals.. I think FEU needs to win game 1 to have a shot..

Hats off to Coach Bert Flores for doin an excellent job for FEU lately.
He's done wonders for this team.

Rookies Tolomia and Escoto have been revelations in the absence of Cawalig and Noundu.

I did predict an Ateneo vs FEU finale before the tournament started but somehow during the course of the season i lost faith in the Tamaraws and sided w/ ADU to face Ateneo in the finals.

FEU just peaked at the right time and being the underdog, i wish them the best of luck.

i hope FEU can steal game 1 so we can see how the prized rookies of Ateneo handle the pressure now that Ryan Buenafe isnt with the team.

Yes the all important game of Gilas vs Jordan for a finals appearance against the winner of the China vs Korea game.
Lipat lipat nlng ng channels but mas mabilis matapos ang FIBA games ksi less commercials ang Channel 13 d tulad sa Channel 23 tadtad ng commercials kya may daya slightly delayed yan .

Same old problem for the Philippine Team -- NO CONSISTENT OUTSIDE SHOOTING. Jordan killed us from the three points! While we can't even connect from the outside. Oh, we had some good dunks, crossover moves and what nots copied from the NBA but we don't need these to win in international games. We need SHOOTERS, SHOOTERS, SHOOTERS. The likes of Caidic, Adornado, Atoy Co, Danny Florencio, Chip Engelland who can score from the outside, at will!

Stags finally lose, 81-82 to Letran in OT.. nakakaaliw yung game.. halatang rusty yung Stags pero ayaw talaga bumitaw.. hero to goat si Pascual.. after forcing overtime, iniwan niyang libreng libre si Alas para sa tres.. ayun pumasok at panalo Letran..
