Game 3 is going to be anybody's ballgame. But IMO the one-week break favors UST. DLSU loses some momentum there. Kinda weird to have such a long break between games for a Finals series. Is it also true that, despite reports saying the MOA Arena will be the venue for next Sat's Game 3, this isn't confirmed yet because MOA Arena is already booked for another event? Even Araneta will be unavailable next Sat, per reports. Baka sa ULTRA ang bagsak nito. Para kumita naman ang Pasig scalpers!

Nice post-game interview given btw by Coach Juno Sauler. Almost heard crickets there.

Kahit papano napaganda ang series, even ball game so we'll see how it goes in game #3. It was Ferrer's technical foul that killed the momentum for UST. Had it just "warnings" given it would have sparked some more from the UST side, maybe closer end game again. Pido maybe disgusted after that, same goes for Racela's comments "if you're not part of big schools you're not getting any sympathy from the league or refs."

Good comeback from La Salle, we'll see another match-up on Saturday.

Again, kill all the scalpers!

I beg to disagree. This favors DLSU more than it favors UST. It's difficult to keep passions high for an extended period. And since DLSU is the more systematic team, they'll have more time to perfect whatever adjustments are needed to counter UST's passion.

The extended break gives the DLSU players a much needed break. They only rotated 7 players in Game 2. The long break will be to their advantage.

Tingin ko mas mahirap makakuha ngayong game 3 kasi do or die na and last among the series. Ewan ko lang kung mas okay ticketing ng MOA Arena kaysa Araneta. Mas naglipana ang sindikato at scalpers sa Araneta eh. Better yet get it from your school office para safe. Kaso mga alumni lagi nakakakuha ng tickets eh.

AVO is a revelation this season, he's a beast inside! Jeron should start taking shooting lessons from Allan Caidic this off-season. seriously, UST's giving him all the time in the world to take outside shots!

Jeric is pouring his heart out every game, you can tell that he wants to win more than anyone this Finals.

Can't wait for the exciting game 3!

Ang masakit nito MVP pa naman sya. Kahit papaano, dapat maganda ang inaasal mo sa loob ng court.

As for spitting stories, I can't recall if it was Dionisio or Fabiosa who spat on Francis Arnaiz in one of the Crispa Toyota games. And kwento ng erpats ko, sila Tembong Melencio at Turo Valenzona before dinuraan yun mga Koreano kaya nagkagulo sa isang National Games. Yuck. But gone are those days. Dati pag bad boy ka, sikat ka. Ngayon skills and power na ang labanan talaga.

FYI. Our 1999 championship was won in Cuneta. Coincidentally, we were 0-1 against UST in that series and won the last 2 games.

MANILA, Philippines—SM Tickets will open ticket selling for game three of the UAAP men’s basketball finals between La Salle and the University of Santo Tomas scheduled on Saturday only on the day itself.

The ticketing network of Mall of Asia Arena announced on its Facebook account Tuesday that fans may buy tickets just half an hour before the 3:30 p.m. rubber match.

“1 ticket per physically present person. Those in line will be directed straight to the venue entrance. Customer will not be allowed to leave the line after purchase,” SM Tickets also said.

selling of tickets will start 30 minutes before game time? can't help but wonder how management intends to accommodate over 10k fans in just half an hour. at 10K, they would have to serve over 300 persons per minute.
