Measy is coming out with X6 play that's RTK 1185 chip. HFS support for Mac users!

new RTK1185 player, 1000MBps LAN, USB 3.0 slave, sleek drive chassis, DLNA remote and option for Wifi dongle, was that good I just sold my hardly used Measy e8HD(1073),

Already placed a reservation with cardinalfury #9 on his groupbuy list, and now i wait

The only thing remaining to replace in Measy X6 is the BT client, (neighborweb isnt really stable but I hope it gets better).

I find transmissions torrent client as a better engine and far more stable, I come from Neighbor Web BT client. I hope that will soon be an option.

personally, I like the learning LED remote and the new drive tray (a step above the old e8HD clip type drive tray, yung luma may spring sa base na parang battery tuloy ang disks mo hehehe) thanks

Baka may review na pls post link. Puro specs lang nakikita ko, halos lahat ng 1185 na nmt same lahat ng specs mas ok siguro kung maganda ba magperform or how stable ang firmware.

X6 is so new in the market pero alam kong meron itong si cardinal fury, pero ayaw magpahiram pa ...

past few months, I kept an eye on measy X6 and himedia 600B, both RTK1185, for the sheer value it may put on the table.

When i heard from cardinalfury he'll have X6 @<6k for a base unit, i preordered 3 units from him for a few friends. In the past, we buy off each others used disks, dami siyang BD full menu titles kasi na nagkalat, so tulungan lang yan since he decided to get into it.

To support a newbie seller in PDVD, I did offer to host his X6 at toys4geeks.nexus.ph to measure market interest and interesting ang webstats ng X6, but far from egreat S100/S800/S900.

Anyways,I preordered a few more in favor of his price drop for a sub-6K RTK1185.

Siempre, I remain proud on Egreat's PQ/SQ and "built like a tank" quality, and the PDVD community, I realized extending help to another newbie member keeps us all interesting to the HD itch.

very hot ang S100, if you are like me with lots of disk, get the S100+ dual SATA dock promo. sobrang like mo yun! full BD menu pa! (OOT).

I have a few full BD titles in my collection pa. Dont know where to download full BD's $:-\$ . But if I give up my a100, i would go for an NMT that has BT capability, has a unique GUI, and better PQ/SQ + support. I just dont want to spend so much in NMTs beyond how my med500x was priced before. Will this X6 be fit kaya for my needs?

X6 just seem interesting for its newer GUI(which i wish is faster than HiMedia 600B)
Reality: I dont anticipate it will screen-scream the PQ of a sigma chip based unit, iba pa rin talaga sigma eh, at least from my RTK1073DD experience and RTK1185 vs. S-Series

Pros:
Price point - X6 @ < 6k might be a good fit sa budget if mkv playback lang habol mo, mas mura sa 600B. I've enrolled to 18 month warranty all the units i got, just to be safe, medjo bago yung model eh. free MM delivery pa.

Cons:
-all RTK1185 has no BD full navigation menu, it may have BDJ 1.0 profile but have not seen one that played a BDMV, it does not support BDJ 1.1 and BDJ 2.0 profile, (most newer titles use 2.0, i think). But most dont need Full BD navigation menu, and if you have not seen one, naku, iwas muna. addicting ang quality kasi ng full BDrips (albeit bigger files 40GB/title)

it plays BD.iso but is not BD full menu.
if has BD simple menu i think, but BDJ profile 1.0, while new releases are BDJ profile 1.1 and BDJ profile 2.0. I have yet to see BD ISO or BDMV lossless rip that runs BDJ profile 1.0. just for your consideration.

For Full BD menu navigation, i'd gun for Egreat S100 (9k~9.8k) or A210 (10k~11k)
