For the same price this baby has the functionality of playing 27 media formats.

the only gripe I have about Toshiba is that it seemed their aftersales services are store/service center-based. I don't know if they do home servicing of their products.

tama yan. mura naman talaga sa LR ang kaso lang maraming asar kay Oliver (owner) but what the heck, di mo naman sya iuuwi e. nakausap ko si Minnie (of LR) the other day at available na yan. ilang hakbang lang ang pagitan ng 2 stores na yan,

ang pagkakaalam ko kaya naman tapatan ng SnS ang lowest price na bigayan sa market eh. so sa tingin ko basta sabihin mo na ganyan ang price sa LR, bibigay din sayo ng SnS at the same price.

Hindi naman sa nagiinarte ako huh... haha... pero bakit 2 lang ang HDMI port nito... sayang... hehe... was thinking of getting the 40av700 instead pero lumang model na eh... mukhang ok to eh.. may nakabili na ba ito? Any reviews?

actually ang gandang feature ng old Tosh models with 4 HDMI ports.

Meron bang HDMI port adapter that multiplies one port to several?

I think the problem with the media player would be on the storage device you're going to connect.

If one will play basic avi or the 700mb mkv files, it won't give you a hitch.

But if you play the 7GB-20Gb mkv files, it won't play it since such files need to be on a NTFS formatted storage.

This TV recognizes only FAT formatted storage so, no-can do for big files movies.

I am actually more interested with the 40av700 since the price difference when we partner and bought two will save us something for a Kaiboer media player. A dedicated media player is always better than a built-in one. plus more components in a TV, more parts to break lol

plus the fact na mas pogi ang AV700 kesa sa PB10.

I went to Anson's with my 1TB hard drive just to test its media player for HD movies. Hindi nag-play yung ibang mkv files ko. "Video/format not supported" daw (baka kakaiba yung codec)

Hindi rin ata kayang mag-decode nito ng DTS

I am in hunting mode for a 40+ inch TV and saw this good priced Toshiba. Just have some few questions.

1. What does LED backlit LCD means? Does this means this is not really an LED TV?
2. When I was still a kid, we have a Toshiba b&w TV and was the longest working TV we had. Are the Toshiba still the same quality or I may say last long? I hope to hear from Toshiba LCD/LED users here.
