my mini 2.0 room set up

Hello pdvd :) just want to share my 2.0 room set up.

Got my first BS from aaudio (feb. 16, 2010) kahit wala pa ako amp  ;D I then made a diy 8watt lm383 amp powered by an old generic computer psu as a temporary amp for my speakers to be used on my pc. I have a logitech z5500 but then I sold it when I moved to taguig to study. I stumbled upon sir TonyT's gainclone diy thread and from there i build one myself: (thanks sir tony & sir jojod :D)

It served me well for about a year as a pc speakers then sa headfi naman ako nahilig :D

here are some of my head fi gears:

DIY Imod 60gig 5th gen ipod video using Blackgate NX non polar caps (47uf+.047) and wima caps.

BTT:

Nasunog ko one of my BS midbass drivers because walang dc blocking caps yung gainclone na ginawa ko (corrected na) when I connected it to my Fuze's line out :'(

pero pinalitan ni sir Anthony ng bagong 1sc drivers ;D eto na sha ngayon with upgraded xover and new vifa tweets:

kasama na rin si Genesis


Got a new Nad amp  :)


wala pang rack kaya nilagay lo muna sa taas ng cabinet  ;D


bumili ako ng cheapo rack,  next na lang yung speaker stands










bagong palit ng knobs para babyg kunwari  ;D

it's a silver braided cables sir na 20awg teflon insulated, i've used 16 pcs (8wires/ch) , recycled lang :) balak ko lagyan ng red expandable sleeving at shrink tubes, complete na materials pero tinatamad gawin :D

gusto ko rin mag diy ng cat5 to be used as speaker cables pero wala pa time ;D

sir! question lang po.....pano po kayo nag pa custon ear impression?may dalawa po kasi akong earphones/buds na gusto kong gawing ganyan para monitor pag tumutugog amplified instruments tsaka para sa music listening on the go ...thank you po  ;D

hello sir, nagpa custom iem ako sa Unique Melody  :)
Specifically anong iem/ bud gamit nyo sir?

di ko lang sure kung nag re shell sila ng dynamic although meron hybrid (combination of dynamic/ balanced armature) ang Um which is merlin.

wow, nice sets of gears sir, ganda rin ng mga diy's, namis ko tuloy yung project namin na power amp nung high school, dun lahat nag start yung love ko sa hobby natin... ;) ;) ;)
