Topic: 50HZ LCD Display Dilema

This is my first post here.  Has anyone tried a 50hz lcd display here in the Philippines? Just recently got a lcd display and it is rated 100-240volts, but only 50hz. I was told that it will work here for about a month then break since we use 60hz here. Any experiences?

I've search for a hertz converter, but could not find any in Raon, quipo, or sm.

I've googled this and some say for electronics it is okay, but for motors it is not. But my friend told me that in reality, 50 hz system will get broken here. Is this true?

hey, meron ba may same problem? kaya ba 50hz tv satin? kc, sabi sakin ok lang daw, and marami daw talaga ganyan dito. Kaso, may isang freind ako na nagsabi mga 1 month lang daw sira na yun. Totoo kaya?
