Currently owned and plan to use:

Polk Audio and Crown bookshelf speakers
B & W 6 series Floorstanders
AR Center Speakers
Vintage Bose 602
Technics 1200 MK2 Turntable
Pioneer Floorstanding Speakers
Sony PS3
Pioneer DVD player
NAD Power and PreAmp

Haven't used my gears for more than 10 years (excluding PS3). Hope it still works.

Still deciding what to get:
50 or 60 inch Panasonic Plasma or Samsung 3D Plasma.
Onkyo 609
Subwoofer. Either MK or Velo or SVS

your dedicated room looks promising.

you might want to reconsider getting matching front speakers (LCR) at least, to achieve better synergy.

How big is your room?

Since it's a dedicated home theater, it might be better to get a projector set-up instead. Iba ang experience pag malaki ang screen!

Also consider putting acoustic treatments para mas maganda ang tunog. Malaking bagay yan sir.

It's quite small 4 x 3 meters only. I'm afraid projectors might be too big for the room. Thanks for the suggestions and keep em coming. I definitley need the inputs since im not familiar withe new gears. I'm already more vintage as to my Bose speakers and MKII Turntable.

By the way where can I get those acoustic treatments? Or are they DIY?

4 x 3 meters are pretty steep for PJ so i guess 55incher plasma or led/lcd will do the job.

My frnd is also planing to put a pj on a 3x4m room 90" screen. View distnce of 12ft. Or you can use panasonic plasma 65"gt30 or st model. Good luck sir!

Thanks a lot for the added input. Unfortunately a 60 incher or higher is a bit beyond my budget as of the moment. So what I got a while ago was the 51 incher 3D plasma together with an Onkyo 609 from The Listening Room. Can't wait to have them set it up tomorrow night. Probably when the 60 inchers drop below the 75 to 100K mark. Then I'd move my Samsung 51D to the Master Bedroom, Give my 42PV70 Panny to my son, then give his 29 inch JVC CRT to inday, And retire inday's 14 inch sony triniton.
