Topic: suggestions please... set-up a HT

mga sir, good day.

plan kong mag set up ng home theater and at the same time enjoy a good sound.

may napupusuan na kasi akong set-up

 - marco pilyo amp4v2 (amp)
 - marco pilyo JBL 12' subwoofer
 - aaudio center speaker (charisma 5)

budget ko lang kasi is 15k to 20k lang...

kaya sir marcopilyo and sir anthony ako kukuha because of the good comments regarding sa quality and syempre affordable yung prices nila sa mga katulad kong noob palang...

**for HT - watching movies... and playing loud RNB,Trance musics ang trip ko...

any suggestions mga sir... maraming salamat po.

the most exciting part in this hobby is the gear hunting. so habang hindi ka pa nakakabili, pasyalan mo muna lahat ng av stores pati yung shop nila aaudio at marco pilyo para mapakinggan mo lahat kahit pa hindi pasok sa budget mo just to get an idea kung ano ang tunog na talagang hanap mo. bring your cds and test materials at huwag ka magmadali para hindi ka magsisi sa huli.

oo nga sir eh.. plan kong dumaan mga next week sa mga shop nila... gusto ko talagang marinig muna and magtanong sa knila kung ano din ang suggestions nila...

mejo naguguluhan lang kasi ako kasi my magnagsasabing avr ang kunin ko... ano po ba ang difference ng amp and avr??? yung amp po ba ni sir marcopilyo may diff ba sa ibang amps and avr??? sorry mga sir sobrang bago lang talga ako.

For basic entry level HT you need an Audio Video Receiver (AVR) and (3.1 setup) Left, Center, Right speakers plus a Subwoofer.

Sa list mo Center speaker lang unless may pares ka na?

Pilyo's amp/sub combo is a good choice but subwoofer lang yan.

do u have existing speakers already (L&R)? these main speakers will play a major part of setting up an HT. 

Dami ka options for an HT set up, may mga HTiB (home theater in a box) na kumpleto agad na papasok sa budget mo na 15-20k. But it is indeed a lot of fun to make your own set-up ny using separate components.

oo nga mga sir nakapag basa-basa nadin ako... pinagiisipan ko ngayon is kung yung Logitech Z5500 or mag set up nalang ako ng sarili kong HT....hhhhmmmmm...  kasi kung ganun, i need to let go first sa sub and amp. ......

the logitech z5500 seems to have good reviews. They say it could play loud even in a large room. How big is your room by the way?

Aaudio & Pilyo Subs, great choices Sir, Now its time to hunt for a AVR for the processing, there are some posted in the MarketPlace right now w/c are low-priced that you might want to check it out also

If you do decide on building an HT from different components, you will get GREAT value for money with Aaudio Speakers and Pilyo subs.  You'll need a receiver as what others have stated.

sir kakayanin ba ng AVR yung speakers L&R, center speaker without the amp? or hindi naman magkakaproblema ....ganun nalang kasi plan ko...pa konti-konti lang muna...

 yung sounds  ko manggagaling sa ipod or sa media player ko.

Depende sa receiver na gagamitin mo, if its a 5.1 receiver, it should be able to power your Front, center and surrounds already.

malamang 5.1 lang muna.. then chaka nalang ako maguupgrade ulit ng higher spec of receiver once na malaman ko na yung mga basics and technicals.  any suggestion na receiver na mura and oks ang performance? kahit entry level lang muna.

check the marketplace, kahit mag 2nd hand ka muna, you could get a good deal.

think of it as like buying a PC...you can buy a complete set (let's say HP desktop) all in one na (tapos na problema mo) OR build your own rig...start ka sa casing, power supply, motherboard...

so, if you decide to build your own, expect mo na, na walang katapusan ang upgrade mo...ahihihihi!!! ;D;D

marami naman mga combo package like onkyo+jamo speakers or denon+JBL...be sure pagka bili mo, wag ka na mag basa ulit dto sa PDVD kung ayaw mong mapa gastos ulit. hehehe!!!

pero nothing's more exciting than building your own...nooninoo ninoo!!!
