HD Media Player to HTiB connection question
« on: Nov 23, 2011 at 02:08 PM »
Help naman.  I got me the Sharp HTiB which came "free" with my Sharp LCD TV.  Now I want to maximize the HTIB sana and use it when watching movies using my Astone HD Media Player.  The HTIB doesn't have SPDIF, so the question is, is there any way I can connect so I can still enjoy 5.1 sound (via the HT) while watching movies from HD Media player?  ???

Ano impedance ng mga speakers? Usually ang mga HTIB speakers ay 3 to 4 ohms, meron ding 14 to 18ohms.

Ang AVR, usually from 6 to 12 ohms.

Not really recommended

Technically, puwede if you match the speakers correctly.  But I'm with Philander that it's not recommended.  You may be better off selling the HTIB as a whole, and replacing it with a AVR+speaker set.

You may still have 5.1 pa pala, if your HTIB has Dolby Prologic II.  Pero hindi siya discrete 5.1, only simulated 5.1 by your HTIB, from your stereo input.

sige po sir Paolo, baka ganun na nga lang.. medyo kapos din kasi sa budget..  :(

may marecommend po ba kayong avr+speakers na budget meal na medyo disente tumunog?

salamat sa replies sirs..  ;)
