Surplus yan! for 28K, it is not worth it. Lumang modelo na yan at mga parts nyan ay pwede na bumigay anytime. Specially mga electrolytic capacitors nyan ay nagiging leaky na. Pwede yan sa 28K kung 10 years free parts n labor warranty (joke lang).

Hanap ka na lang bro sa mga japan surplus store. Dun din kasi bumibili mga taga pier kaya lang wholesale sila.Nagkalat mga japan surplus stores kahit saan. happy and lucky hunting na lang.Pag may magandang dumating ay tinatawag na yan sa mga favorite suki kaya tsamba ka na lang kung abutin mo pa.

Sa Eastern shipping dati kami nagbababa surplus electronics from japan at may shop ako dati sa tapat ng bahay ng mga Araneta sa Farmers Cubao. Nagwhowholesale kami sa Raon at the rest ay binebenta ko sa shop sa Cubao.

Sa ngayon kasi, Mas mahal bumili mga Vietnamese, Hongkong at ibang kapit bansa pa kaysa sa atin kaya dun napupunta mga magaganda electronics.

Sansui AU907 series, pwede na yan sa 5k. Marami kasi bagito na pumapatol sa mataas na presyo kaya nagmamahal paninda sa pier. pero konti na lang dumadating electronics sa ngayon kasi halo na ng mga furnitures ang household items laman ng mga container na galing japan.

High demand kaya high price...

Halos wala ng surplus shops sa pier for audio electronics. Mas mabenta ngayon surplus bikes and furnitures as I see it. @juanbote is right, most surplus audio items are redirected to Vietnam or China, which is funny, since as we know China is the oem makers of almost all know electronic brands. But, it seems Chinese audiophiles, still prefers Japan made products. This says a lot of the quality of domestic Japan products and also reflects the quality of the new breed of audio products.

I also want to know if meron pa bang good source of surplus audio electronics sa metromanila or talagang nearing extinct na.

The late 90's to early 2K is the golden era for me sa pier. Luckily, that time, I was working at Del Bros at South Harbor so after work diretso sa audio shops don. I remember seeing all those hi end amps, cdp and speakers naka balandra lang sa harap ng mga stores. Your wallet is the limit lang sa pagbili noon.

newbie here pero matagal na akong lurker sa site na to. Saw this Yamaha a-1 and victor a-x55 this morning. Pinili ko yung yamaha over victor kasi parang mas maganda yung tunog nya. yung speaker pala na ginamit namin ay diatone ds-73dii. i bought the amplifier and speaker for 6.5k. maganda din ba yung victor a-x55?

D2 lng sa surplus shop sa davao. may problema yung yamaha. after 2 hrs lng na pagbabad ko kanina parang pumuputok na watusi na ang speakers. ano kaya problema nito?

parang popcorn nga. malakas nung mga unang beses. nagsimula to nung medyo tinaasan ko ang volume. akala ko nasira na ang bass ng diatone kasi malayo ang inabante ng cone at parang tumigas tpos dahan-dahang bumalik sa normal position.

you have to let your technician check it out, clean the boards, look for cold solder joints, these are usual in mass produced boards......

Sorry, pero sa totoo lang, I can't comment on the model you mentioned since I haven't used one. I probably owned over a hundred amps already in my over 35 years in this hobby -- from European to American and lately mostly vintage Japanese. Pero isa sa pinaka-konti sa major Jap brands na nasubukan ko yung Sony, probably the most is three amps. In fact of over two dozen amps I have now here in Davao, only one is Sony (555 ESG) but I'm quite happy with it.

salamat po sir sandawa. at present i have sansui au-alpha 907. au-666, sansui ba-150 at ito nga pong sony esprit ta-n902 hi end power amp matching w/ my pioneer c-90a pre amp. mahilig po ako sa vintage sansui amp. lagi ko po kayong binabasa sa pdvd.

Swerte ka meron kang a907. Bihira yan dito sa Pilipinas. It was never released in the US market and very few units were sold in Europe, halos walang inilabas sa UK, instead sa France at Germany sila nag-benta.

oo nga po sir sandawa, marami nga kumukursunada ng a907 ko pero nang mabasa ko ang tungkol sa a907 nyo ay lalo ko itong minahal. tama po ba sir na lagi kong pinipihit ang mga control ng 907 3 times a week para maiwasan ang cracking. ok po ba yun. minsan kasi dinadala ko pa sa technician e super bigat at mahal maningil.

Ang akin a907iMos Ltd at a907. Yung a907 may problema, hirap ang technician ayusin, iba daw ang configuration kasi ng a907 series at mahirap ang piyesa. Parang multi-stage amplification yata ang sabi sa akin. Kaya siguro iba ang buga niya sa woofer. Kung hindi ako nagkakamali, 28 kgs ang a907, yung a907iMos Limited, 31kgs. Meron din akong AU-907 Limited, parang de-tubo ang tunog pero kulang sa power muscle, tulad ng AU-X series.
