that's exactly my Alpha 907 but mine is without the "i mos Limited." note the XLRs and speaker terminals that accommodate the heaviest and biggest bananas.

notice the curly alpha sign before the number 907..... the one sighted in pier has a "D" instead of the alpha.... those are very different models.

sir akyat, anyone ?

tanong ko lang, i noticed na merong times na pag on ko ng yamaha amp ko, when the music starts playing parang may scratchy sound coming from one side then kanina i tried it again ok at first tapos ganun na naman. then altoghether nawala yung isang channel, rest for a few minutes then ok na naman. sa left channel lang, at first akala ko yung onkyo surplus speakers, so i switched to my wharf 8.3, ok at first but this morning nangyari yung above. sa onkyo yung tweeter ang nawala but sa wharf pareho nawala. :'(

sana nga hindi major ang sira, pero try ko muna ulit, kasi i tried using yung source direct a few days before then nagka ganun baka madumi yung switch na yun kaya intermittent yung problem. :'( :'(

parang ganyan ang sakit ng accuphase amp ko..... mahinang scratching sound lumilipat ng kaliwa kanan, minsan nawawala ang tunog sa isang channel...... mahirap hulihin ang problema, like recently i've been using the accuphase for 4 days straight without problems since the CDP shootout and kagabi ko lang ulit narinig yung kamot..... pero sandali lang nawala din ulit.

try mo painitin muna ng 5minutes yung amp before playing anything..... it seems to minimize the problem.... i suspect its in the power-on relays, bcoz one time when i turned it and while waiting for it to warm up, i heard the relay click more than once, and then it kept clicking in 10sec intervals until i started playing the amp.

or baka madumi lang mga contact points ng amp mo.

Kuha ka ng stick ng barbecue (stick lang ha, walang barbecue) then open your amp and let it play. Gently tap the caps on the channel where you hear the "kamot", konting tyaga lang at makukuha mo yan.

thanks for the advice, i tried it last night ok na naman, parang dun sa source direct na switch ang problem. observe ko for a few days . akala ko tuloy nasira yung spkrs ko.

akala ko yung sundance flamenco cd ang sumira, pag tapos kasi ng cdp shootout yung ang pinakikinggan ko ng malakas !

from what i'm reading here, wa-is na ang mga members dito mamili. pretty soon many would start regular weekend home-based audio trading, like what i did in mid to late '80s in QC. the urge to unload starts when one sees new must-buy units but he has accumulated at least a dozen equipment that are inactive. kung mainit ang mata ni misis (dahil baka hindi makabuo ng panganay - talking from experience), no escape - kailangang magbenta!

ang problema, you have competition from the pier and from the forum. maybe you should begin exploring an orderly marketing arrangement. otherwise, your re-sale prices would suffer. bad for forum members, good for outsiders.

Btw, those people selling these amps at the pier are not as ignorant (of their wares) as they seem to be. I tried to feign ignorance and let them "educate" me on the merits of various amps. For sure, they know which models are the high-ends and even mentioned using the internet as a reference. I hope they are not piggybacking on this little forum of ours, sssssshshshsshh..
