hi adjell33.. sorry for the late reply. been so busy at work.
i'm not very good in describing what i hear, its just a feeling. if i like what i hear, that's it. but let me try..
the sansui BA2000 at 110wpc will give you power specially on low frequencies.. malakas tumulak 
while the Lo-D HMA-9500 at 120wpc will give you finesse on mid and high. pino, swabe  .. eka nga nung dating nag mamay_ari. and i agree with his description.

Anyone seen this at the pier?  The Onkyo Integra M504?

I havent encountered an M504 but I have seen an Onkyo Integra M506 at the pier around two years ago and it was sold for P8K.  I was able to buy an Onkyo Integra M506R (newer) elsewhere for P5k before that. Very handsome looking amp with large black meters with green lights. Very powerful amp with two sets of speaker outputs rated at 120wpc. Performance is very much like the Technics SEA 5 also rated at 120wpc

the technic A5 was 11k asking price and the onkyo 506R, have no idea.. i think both has already been sold.. better luck next hunting sir.

I got over the weekend a Sony TA-3200F power amp in superb condition (not actually surplus). Its Sony's TOTL power amp in 1972, pre VFET era.

Not actual pictures, but mine is exactly the the same, less the wood casing.

Very nice looking sony amp! What tube pre-amp do you use this with? I have a similar set-up with a Sony T-AN 330ES power amp with a car tube pre-amp(soundstream) used with a 12v converter for home use!

I'm using a DIY clone of Bottlehead's Foreplay III preamp, fitted with 2 x NOS JAN Philips 5963 (12AU7 equivalent) and OD3 regulator tube. Info on original Forepaly III:

Sir, I bought theForeplay pre-owned from the PDVD marketplace. It was originally planed to be paired with the Trends Audio TA-10.1. Hooked to a vintage late 60s Pioneer 3 way speakers with 12" woofers, the preaamp+TA-10.1 combo sounded great, better than the Trends TA-10.1 without the pre-amp. As my wife put it, mas malinis tumunog. Then a frined (also a fellow PDVDer) loaned me a tube power amp, a single ended EL34, and to me the all tube combo sounded way better than the Trends TA-10.1+preamp. Up to moderate listening level, the Trends TA-10.1+preamp sounded a bit better overall than the Sony TA-3200F+preamp, but the Sony TA-3200F starts to shine as you crank up the volume.

I've been living in Munoz, Nueva Ecija for the last 23 years. And BTW, I'm newbie on this addictive audio hobby.
