Hmm. those yamahas may be large midrange yamaha speakers. Not tweeters and no woofers.

Hi Sir Lord Foo,

Could it possibly be full range speakers?
Those are just too big of an enclosure for a midrange.
But Sir kefq can enlighten us. :)

 Hi Sansutsut,

That is a good Sansui, in fact i have one.
Bring it to a good electronic technician,
before something of a major problem may occur.
That is a dual power supply Sansui model amp,
AU-D607, 70wpc.
My main concern when buying for an amp are the
output transistors.
Sansui usually uses Sanken or Toshiba.
Those transistors are hard to find nowadays, worst,
not available anymore.

Sir, how about yung ang tagal bago pumalo ng relay and yung output sound ng right ay mas malakas kaysa output ng left? Possible kaya sa mga leaky capacitors?

Siguro nga po tama kayo dalahin ko sa good electronic technician!

TY....

Sansui amps takes few seconds for the relay to activate, this is normal.
It should be about 5 secs. Longer than that, there might be a problem somewhere.
Well regarding the output sound, AU-D607 has a selector switch at the back, that
contact point may became dirty over time (preamp-power amp sel. switch) and may result
to problem to the output sound, Try cleaning it with a contact cleaner.

Sir Nelson O,

My AU-D607 activated the relay mga 30seconds
to 1 minute.Nakita ko po yung sinasabi nyo na
switch at the back of my amp, pwede po pala
maging separate power amp and separate pre amp?
Wala po ba talagang jumper wire betwen
pre-amp out and power amp in sa rca at the
back, kasi po sa ibang amp na nakikita ko
ay meron.

Ty po ng marami ulit...... ;)

Yes, AU-D607 can be used as an integrated, pre
amplifier or power amplifier by properly setting the
selector switch at the back, the reason for not having
 a jumper wire.

 Thanks Sansutsut,

Yes, i'm the lucky (am i? hehehe...) owner of the all intact,
all original power output transistors (all Sankens) M-509.
It's a 200wpc at 8 ohms power amplifier and weighs 31kg.
My heaviest amp being the 9090db (24kg) before having the
M-509. You should see the vu meters in action! Fantastic!
Btw, about the fuse lamp. I think Raon is the best place to look
for those vintage electronic parts.

AU-a 507XR is the entry level of the XR series (1993)
60 watts per channel at 8 ohms
 weighs 10.5kg
Alpha series are well designed and Sansui's pride
after the great solid state era of the 70's :)

 Btw, when you said "lola"
are you referring to Little Chatty?

Ah, ok, you're referring to FJMR.
IMHO, every AU alpha regardless of the model
 are well designed.
In the end, it is your music preference that will
 determine your choice of amp/equipment.
Btw, do you have an AU-D707?

its a AU-D707F Extra sir.

Hello po!.. merry xmas to all!!

I'd purchased 1 unit of PA for my audio setup. This was been made by Victor japan (110VAC from pier) and model is M-1100. I would like to ask a favor from anyone if you have any idea/s regarding this amp? I am also asking if anybody here has keeping a specs/diagram for this type of amp.. As I opened the console, it was been driven by a 7-pin power pack IC (STK-00125 product code). I tried to search on google & yahoo but this was not been displayed even the datasheet for this IC does not display also.

Need everybody's help.. thanks for the support!!

Mahirap humanap ng diagram niyan unless you'll email Victor Japan (JVC) and it's patient enough to send you an attached document. Yamaha Japan used to do that.

Hi. I have this amp in my collection for some time now, Panasonic SU-V900. Not as popular as Sansuis, but I enjoy listening every time I hook it up. Matches very well with my B&Ws :)

That's actually a Technics and a very good amp. Technics, Panasonic, National, and Ramsa, among others, are brands that belong to Matsushta Electric. BTW, Matsushta also owns Japan Victor and its international brand JVC.
