thanks. malamang ok lang. i wouldn't know kse i'm only 160 lbs

actually next upgrade ko siguro here would be a loveseat la-z-boy

and yeah the bass traps are a special kind of acoustic foam. it took me forever to put these up as it kept falling down. i was in a rush to stick them to the wall and was using the wrong adhesive!

Here's a good explanation bet. both: Imagine 2 weight lifters, the first one can lift a maximum of 200 lbs. with two hands for ONLY 10 seconds (NAD). The 2nd one (Emotiva) can lift 200 lbs. with one hand for 2 hours and not even break a sweat.

me too i can vouch for that separates really makes a huge impact on sound quality over a receiver especially if you have a demanding speakers for lots of current and load....

i hear the newer dynaudios are more efficient but they're like twice the price here in toronto.

separates still make a considerable difference talaga. dialogue is much more clearer. mahirap nang bumalik once you make the switch!

Kahit active subwoofer affected nung nag-separates ako, yung 1 o'clock gain level dati ngayon 9 o'clock na lang. Mas naging punchy and tight pa ang LF. Nag-unload pati pre-amp section ng Onkyo receiver ko kaya daw ganyan. Never expected the effect to be that big. I thought signal lang ang kinukuha ng powered subwoofer sa a/vr.

exactly, even at low volumes fuller yung sound when you go separates. i'm glad i went this route than just upgrading my receiver.

balita sayo, doc? hehe.. haven't been here in a few weeks as busy sa work. haven't used my mancave for mga 2 weeks na din but i plan to watch a movie sometime this week..

salamat sa mga likes from the others. etong ganitong hilig natin e ordinary lang sa canada. almost anyone with a decent job can get these things here in a very short time. i do get most of my stuff in the US though kse mas mura and mababa taxes.
