congrats sa new set up sir like you 90's pa mahilig na ako sir sa movies and like you may ld at ld player pa din ako

ilipat ko na nga lang sya ng ibang location sa house nagbawas ako sa new av rack eh

Pang-decorate mo na lang yung LDs. Yung LD player paminsan-minsan ginagamit ko as CD player. Nostalgic yung feeling whenever I load an LD sa tray...parang kailan lang.

Saan mo pina-frame sir and how much ang damage?

I had them framed a few years back sa isang shop sa SM Southmall. Mura lang pagawa ko nun, I think P600 for the single LD's and P1,000 for the Star Wars Trilogy. Unfortunately, when SM Southmall was renovated, the shop moved out and never came back. Sayang, I still have a couple of mint LD's that I want to be framed. Other shops can do it but were quoting me a much higher price.

Very nostalgic itong LD's. I remember when I still had my first LD player (non-autoreverse), whenever it reaches the end of the disc, nagtuturuan kami ng wife ko as to who will flip the disc

. And yes, I remember that jog dial on the remote control. I wish DVD and BD players still have those features.

Sorry, no pictures yet of the actual setup as I'm still waiting for my PJ wall mount (Peerless PPA-W, due to arrive on monday) and Elite Screens Sable Fixed Frame 92". Right now, I'm using it muna in our living room and projecting it on the wall. I can't really compare performance with other PJ's as this is my first ever PJ but so far, I'm very impressed with the video quality in both 2D and 3D (kahit sa wall lang naka-project). I'll post updated photos once the wall mount arrives.

Wala pang screen. Sa wall lang muna ako nagpo-project. Will probably make a temporary DIY blackout cloth screen muna during the Holy Week break as my Sable 92" screen will probably take 5-6 more weeks to arrive here. PJ and 3D glasses pa lang ang dumating. Bukas siguro dating nung wall mount

Brader sa forex ka nag pa ship di ba through Ocean? In my experience on their shipping dumadating siya in one month. Example nakalagay sa status sa forex site na Marxh 1 departed expected na nasa warehouse na sa rizal ang box or item mo.

Sa monday naman plan ko bili ng PJ sana maayos na.

Sana nga maaga dumating. They actually received it thursday. As I understood it, they ship every friday. I checked my order status at wala pang nakalagay na in transit so malamang di nakaabot sa cut-off at baka next friday pa i-ship

It turned out kailangan mo pala sila iinform kung gusto mo na ipa-ship. Kung di mo sila sasabihan, they'll just store it sa warehouse nila for the maximum 30 days. Mabuti at tinawagan ko ang forex kanina to ask about this. In-advise ko na din to ship asap. Kung di ko pala naitanong, hintay ako nang hintay sa wala

Thats weird? so meaning nasa Warehouse pa nila sa US? Yung mga pina ship ko from US no need na tawagan.. Bale once na receive nila aabot nang 14 days until malagay sa vessel then yung status Vessel(departed) na. Or baka kung tinawagan di na aabot nang 14 days, dala na nila agad sa next available na barko and departed na?

Kausap ko kanina yung contact ko sa Forex at sabi sa akin, they don't ship automatically since baka may gusto pa ihabol na package at ipapaconsolidate. I-advise lang daw sila kung gusto na ipa-ship and they'll include in their weekly (fridays) shipment. They'll ship mine this friday daw. Sayang, dapat pala eh nakaalis na last friday. Better call them para mapa-aga ang pa-ship ng package mo

My package was picked up at my Parents house then my parents just gave me the Tracking number. None called them.. I just check the Tracking number everyday then suddenlt after 14 days the status changed from Origin Scan to Vessel Departed, same thing with all the other packages that was sent to me...
