To mark the
40th anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy on November 22nd, Warner Home Video, along with filmmaker Oliver Stone, will be releasing a special edition DVD of the director's Academy Award winning film, JFK. Set to hit stores on November 11th, the 2-disc set will include the feature-length documentary BEYOND JFK, which explores the many conspiracy theories associated with the tragic events of November 22, 1963, including interview footage and eyewitness accounts that look at the conspiracy questions revolving around the assassination. Also included on the disc will be twelve Extended/Deleted Scenes and and a Commentary track by Oliver Stone. The movie itself will be featured in a Widescreen aspect ratio of 2.35:1 with a 5.1 audio track. For those of you who may not have seen the film in a while or (gasp!) those of you who haven't seen it at all, just let me remind you of some of the amazing cast that Stone assembled for this historic film: Kevin Costner, Tommy Lee Jones, Kevin Bacon, Gary Oldman, Joe Pesci, Walter Matthau, Sissy Spacek, Jay O. Sanders, Laurie Metcalf, Edward Asner, Jack Lemmon, Vincent D’Onofrio, Michael Rooker, Pruitt Taylor Vince, John Candy and Lolita Davidovich, just to name a few. Damn, that's good casting!
that why they are re releasing it..
