i accidentally plugged my yamaha avr to a 220v instead of having it on a 110v on a STAC 1kva regulator.
guess what?.......the regulator's fuse (10amps) blows........the reciever?.....nothing happened...hehehe still alive....i thought i have burned the transformer, so glad that it didn't....gulat talaga ako.... :) :) :)

an indication that the MOV inside the receiver works! it drew a very high current from the stac, causing the fuse to blow. ideally the yamaha's fuse should have blown instead of the stac's. replace mo rin fuse ng receiver, smaller value dun sa dating nakalagay na masyadong "matibay"  ;)
