Mga Sir, hingi po ako suggestion sa inyo. newbie talaga ako pagdating sa ganitong hobby. gusto ko po sana i-upgrade yung htib namin ngayon. hindi ko po alam kung ano muna ang una kong dapat palitan. ang goal ko po ay dalawa.

1. sa movie, kapag po kasi nanood kame medyo mahina yung voice ng tao galing sa center speaker so kailangan ko po lakasan yung volume kapag nilakasan ko naman pagdating sa effects sobrang lakas na galing sa front speakers.

2. sa music, gusto ko po kasi ay marinig lahat ng instruments galing sa front speakers, kalansing ng drums, tunog ng gitara etc. sa ngayon kasi ay medyo nakukulangan ako sa naririnig ko.

general concensus is that avr's generally don't reproduce music as good as integrated amps. baka yun ang solusyon. dati rin kasi akala ko okay na ko sa AVR for music pero hindi pala at hinanap ko pa rin yung tunog. mag audition ka ng sari saring integrated amps to hear the difference

check mo if you can raise the volume for the center channel independently or try to position it properly by making sure na naka angle siya sa listening position

nakatodo na po yung sa center pero nahihinaan pa rin ako sa boses lalo na po kapag bumubulong lang yung nagsasalita.

Yow much are you willing to spend for the upgrade ?

kung papalitan po ay yung center speaker, mga 15k. kung yun naman pong fronts, mga 25-30k

To achieve what you want, I suggest upgrade everything instead of just replacing the center or front speakers.

Buy a decent AV receiver, a better set of speakers and subwoofer.

For sure malaking ganda niyan compared to your current HTIB.

First find front speakers within your 30k budget.  You'll get very decent fronts for this budget.  Later you can replace the center.  P15k is actually a bit too much for a center in the context of a 30k front.  You can use the excess for interconnects.  However until you upgrade to an AVR, I'm assuming you'll be using your HTIB first with the new speakers, you won't get the full benefit of your new LCR but if it were me "ok lang yun" ... the wait will be worth it.

With a budget of P45k for your LCR, I recommend Polk Audio RTi A3 and RTi A4.   There should be excess for interconnects and even maybe an interim pre-loved sub.

A good AVR budget to drive a P45k LCR would be about P25k pre-owned, or about P40k brand new.

Later you can upgrade to a better active subwoofer.  I would suggest a 15k-20k budget to match your new LCR and AVR.

pwede rin po kung yun lang talaga paraan para ma achieve ko yung gusto ko. pero  paisa isa lang po muna. hindi rin po kasi kaya kung isang bagsakan lang. tama ba tong plano ko? fronts muna tapos center tapos surrounds tapos sub at huli na yung receiver. question, yun po bang fronts ng htib namin e pwede ko nalang gawing surrounds para makatipid din?

Chief, check the packaged setup from sound and vision. He has a denon 5.1 system(avr and speakers and sub) i think 34k lang.

Pwede initially pero you really have to tone down the volume considerably.
