yes the tv can accept 1080p from my xbox 360 but i think the tv is downscaling it to 720p. tried 720p and 1080p same movie wala naman difference 

best viewing experience talaga ng 1080p is 55" pataas and besides "most HD content" available is 720p anyway and sa Cignal 720p/1080i yung mga HD channels

Para sakin kasi future proof na yun D550 ,  no need to upgrade kung sakaling puro full HD na movies at may 3Ds just own opinion

If you are looking for a 3D experience then ibang unit dapat. But sticking to the 450 features vs cost, IMO its a great buy (the other option is the 2010/2011 Plasma 50 incher).

You can still watch HD movies/tv series and if you don't have the "eyes" you won't notice a difference between 720p and 1080p.
