BTW, the plasma TVs from Samsung and LG are covered with 1 year manufacturing warranty. The LED / LCD TVs are covered with 2 years.

Sir vic, yung samsung yata 2 yr na din sa plamsa. According to a member here whos unit broke down after 1 yr, his panel was replaced by samsung. Maybe they changed it na?

This TV has USB movie feature that can play numerous format, including mkv and avi. Unfortunately, this USB cannot decode the DTS audio.

Samsung PS51E450 at P37600. can decode DTS, and play mkv. You may want to consider this instead.
