Oh... With regards to the airpor rumble. I don't like raymart or Claudine and I don't like tulfo even more. True the tulfo brothers and father have helped a lot of people. But they are known for cowboy journalism. Which in my book is not a good thing. And another thing   Freedom of the press has to have its ethical limits. They should respect ones right to privacy. And one more thing... The statement issued by the t3 brothers, they should be sued for unjust vexation or a heavier case of grave threat.

Kinakainit pa ng ulo nila is yung 3 hours delayed daw yung flights nila. Sila lang ba ang pasahero ng flight? Tsk.... syempre nabwisit din siguro yung ibang passengers. Pero sya lang ang nagwawawala dun. Why? Because she is Claw Claw?

Primadonna attitude. Phttoooey!

Delayed flights are rarely caused by the airline company. Madalas yan dahil sa air or ground traffic, o kaya poor weather condition. The airline companies generaly lose a lot of money sa delays kaya they make sure na hindi sila nagcacause ng delays.

Sa experience ko greatest cause ng delay sa flights dito sa atin is yung capacity limitation ng NAIA. Nagdagdag lang tayo ng terminals pero yung runways yun pa din. Madalas congested na yung schedule so yung air traffic controllers can no longer manage yung traffic. When that happens, unang nadedelay yung incoming domestic flights, followed by incoming short international flights since sila yung mas madali i-ground sa place of origin. They generally try not to delay departures from Manila kasi mapupuno ang airport, at alangan namang idelay nila yung arriving long-haul flights na on the way na at kokonti na lang ang fuel.

kasama kasi ni rondo yung pamilya niya. could be the reason for claw slapping mon tulfo with a child abuse case. i'm not fan of the celtics, of rajon or raymart and claw, but when a stranger is taking a picture or video of my daughter without permission i will do something about it.

Dapat talaga me rule dyan like the press media should inform first the concerned party that they will shoot a video and for what purpose. Also dapat magpakilala muna with ID yung press media person. Tapos siguro mas ok pa kung meron waiver na signed by both parties para legal na legal.  Dito maiiwasan yung black mail.

Nice analysis by michael tan:
There’s much more, of course, to the Tulfo-Santiago incident: Tulfo’s sense of entitlement (a journalist’s right to photograph public figures), the Santiagos’ sense of entitlement over privacy, the Santiagos’ sense of entitlement over luggage, Claudine Barretto’s tongue-lashing of ground crew, the aggravations that come with flying on the cheap—and the superstitious might want to blame the supermoon driving men to lunacy. Whatever, in the weeks to come, I don’t expect to hear too many “sorry” or “pasensiya” around this case, given the way masculinities, machismo and male pride will play out.

Lesson for Raymart: Control your wife
http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/-depth/05/09/12/lesson-raymart-control-your-wife

Excerpts:

"... Santiago and Barretto are public figures in every sense of the law, personalities in whom the Filipino public retain a general interest, and when a celebrity throws a tantrum in a public place as Barretto did, a journalist—not even one assigned to the entertainment beat—who happened to be on the scene forfeits his stripes should he fail to report what he saw.

In that sense, a journalist is always on call. Tulfo’s cell phone was his data-gathering tool AND his private property.

Whether or not one is a journalist, taking photographs or footage of an incident occurring in a public place is not classified as a crime.

No debate will ensue if, for example, the image/s being recorded involve the commission of a crime, or a dramatic rescue from a natural disaster, or the antics of an animal or child, or a breath-taking slice of nature.

None of that apply here where Santiago’s sole purpose is to confiscate the evidence of his wife’s making a spectacle of herself in public, images which could cause them personal embarrassment and possibly entail commercial repercussions.

Any sane journalist, though, will not willingly hand over his proof upon demand of an irate stranger, however famous.

Why is Santiago objecting to Tulfo’s taking pictures and not to the person who took footage of him beating up a reporter?

That recording, too, was unauthorized, yet Santiago and company did not gang up on the person who digitally recorded the brawl now receiving a million hits on Youtube. Without realizing it, that person became a citizen-journalist invested in showing the public what transpired....

Which lesson should be easier for Santiago to learn: (a) to control his temper or (b) to control a reporter? The answer is (c): control your wife."

i was one of those wondering if indeed Mon Tulfo was writing on the inefficiencies of Cebu Pacific. Found these on the inquirier- some of the articles that Ramon Tulfo wrote on Cebu Pacific

http://newsinfo.inquirer.net/165375/filipinos-don't-assert-their-rights

http://newsinfo.inquirer.net/166321/why-cebu-pacific-doesnt-use-airbridge

so this is why he was interested in taking a shot of the lady haranguing someone at the Cebu Pacific counter, to document another misstep by Cebu Pacific in handling their customers.  He really was writing about Cebu Pacific's inefficiencies and it was not just a cover story to reason out why he was taking the shot.

Just imagine if RS was only asking politely and not aggressively taking the mobile phone of MT - this whole incident would have been just another article of MT berating Cebu Pacific's inefficiencies. Let us not forget HE IS A JOURNALIST, and he is not taking a shot just because. He did not even insinuated himself in the middle of the argument, he was taking his shot from a distance.

as it stands now, because ikinahihiya ni RS ang pagwawala ni CB (why else would he want to delete the video or shot, they could have just turned it to their favor saying they are just LOUDLY expressing their sentiments) sa Cebu Pacific, nagkaroon na tayo ngayon ng Thrilla in NAIA.

This is what I learned from a reliable source: many times, CP pilots make 3 flights one after the other. This is very dangerous but they save a lot of money.

One time, after doing 2 domestic flights, the same pilots flew to Bangkok. Naka-auto pilot and nakatulog sila sa pagod and lumampas ng Bangkok. Ginising sila ng stewardess kaya nakabalik sila sa Bangkok.
