Are there still store that sells 12ax7 / 12Au7 in Raon or inubos nyo na lahat ?    ;D

yung existing tubes ko papatest ko...

out of curiosity,  I connected my netbook/DAC directly into the power amp inputs ng tube amp ko and lumakas yung bass.. sobra hehehe.. I am guessing baka dying na yung pre-tubes ko

Sinubukan ko din yan dati pero di naman lumakas yun lows. Masmahina ang spl when directed sa poweramp pero ang ganda ganda ng SQ.

I get my tubes from juanbote or John P.

small or peanut tubes lasts a long time compared to power tubes....they are operated at a fraction of their plate ratings...

sir, baka naman may adjusted setting sa source netbook (loudess on, equalizer bass boost...) mo, boosted ang  lows. have you tried other sources (cd, etc) using the same tube amp?

paki check sa Pacific Electronics (bago lumiko ng Deeco). baka meron pa National 12ax7.
else, inubos na nga nila :)

alam ko si edrel, namimigay nyan or the equivalent replacements ;D
try mo lan, baka nasa mood sya ;D

I tested it yesterday.. it soudned fine, I may have accidentally turned on the EQ on the netbook  ;D

need to bring/assure food on the table and pambili gears :D
(ot: hanap mo ung BD player all region hack code, kung meron ;))

qguy  has solved the issue, just a netbook EQ setting , I believed.
sayang (or buti na lang), naghahanap na si edrel to give out sana :D
