I think SAS will give it to the Lakers next game. So kahit magpahinga si Mamba, mananalo ang Lakers. If I'm Coach Pop, i'd avoid the Lakers and hand the possibility of an upset to OKC. Even if OKC get past LAL, medyo bugbog na ang OKC by then. So I'd say a sure win by LAL next game. Yun HOU, yun ang patayan ulit

. Hopefully Mamba gets well.

The way he plays, sometimes you think if he really has injury. But yeah, that's bad news indeed. The past few games have been extremely grueling for him indeed.

Yeah. All this wear and tear just to make 8th. But still much respect for the guy. If it's indeed a torn achilles, his season's over. Just hope it's not career-ending.

per Marc Stein, "industry standard" for recovery time for torn achilles is 1 year.

Bro, Kobe shouldn't be playing at all with all his injuries. And playing 48 minutes every game is totally risky. Ayaw talaga ni D'Antoni pero he just wants to respect Kobe's decision to play.

More than the physical pain, I think the guy just wants to go out, play and win at all cost. I may have some harsh words for Kobe from time to time but the guy just earned 1Million respect points from me. Imagine what he did before he walked off the court, tied the game with 2 3 point shots and then another via FTs.

When D'antoni was hired, I read an article which said to watch how he will tire out his team by having a 7 man rotation and by riding his starters like a workhorse. Jeremy Lin's injury was blamed on D'antoni overusing him in NYC.

Kobe did say, however, that the heavy minutes were necessary. Yun nga lang, not practical to play your 34yr old player that way. Gotta give the man some rest
