Gallinari, Hibbert, McGee, George Hill, Ibaka, Chalmers are some of his batch mates picked after him who've already played in the playoffs.. .

for me, there's nothing wrong with what Kevin Love said.. the only reason he hasn't played enough "meaningful" games is because he's playing for the Wolves.. since losing Garnett, the Wolves have done nothing to get back into contention..

Love has worked hard to make himself the Wolves' franchise player and they didn't even give him a max contract.. the guy plays his heart out every game.. since his rookie year, he has vastly improved his post moves.. he extended his range and he battles for rebounds like a man possessed.. he became an All-Star all on his own and has made 2 US national teams already.. but because the Wolves front office hasn't worked hard enough, he has yet to play a playoff game..

No arguing about Love's abilities ...... like I said, he already is one of the league's best PF.

Through the years, there has been a whole lot of other players who called-out management before ...... but those were "older" vets who may have a case about their rants.

I just can't recall any other player (note that Love is just coming out of his rookie contract) who has begun calling out his team management in this way, this early in his career.

i'm sure marami nang young guns na gumawa niyan yun nga lang internally. in love's case he went public with it hence raising some eyebrows. at gaya nga nung sabi ng isa nating kapatid baka magaya siya kay garnett, pinatanda ng husto ng minesotta and in the end he settled to join with pierce and allen in boston just to win a ring. usually kasi pag star caliber na player coming out of his rookie contract it's up to the management to promise him a bright future just to stick around with them. it's either the lure of a championship, a lucrative contract or more media and commercial exposure. if you remember shaq opted to bolt to the lakers

I'm very sure that there is a multitude of players (young and old) grumbling about the same thing re: wanting to be in a more competitive team ...... however, this is what separates them from what Love has did.

You hit the nail dead-center ...... Love went very public with his rants - and he's nowhere near the transcendent, once-in-a-generation talent that Shaq was (who carried the Magic since his rookie year).

IMO, too early for Love to be calling out his management this way ..... besides, the WOLVES are playing in the ultra-competitive West, even a winning record (like what the ROCKETS had a few years now) doesn't guarantee a playoff slot.

Love's gonna need to show up. he needs to backup his words with his game so all the more pressure on him. with the addition of brandon roy into the fold and hopefully a healthier rubio the wolves can make a good run at it. a new NBA season is always exciting seeing all the player movements and imagining how good teams are on paper. i especially enjoy looking out for rookies and see the disappointments and the sleepers. so let's see what happens to the lebrons, the kobes, the howards and the loves this coming season. after all, lahat naman tayo big fans kaya nga tayo andito sa thread  ;D

Minny can trade Love to the Lakers (for Pau) or the Knicks (Amare) ;D

seriously, his team was a legit playoff contender last year.

bad luck just caught up with them (Rubio's injury).

hopefully, (a healthy?) Brandon Roy can help fill their deficiency in the SG department.

The Knicks got a good pick up in Camby. I would love to see NY go with a big line up of Camby, Chandler, Amare, Melo and Lin. With Camby to help out Tyson inside, man, it's gonna be hard to score against the Knicks now. I just hope none of the big guys get injured.

Now this is mildly disturbing ..... for a 4-year player to mouth-off like this:

http://sports.yahoo.com/news/nba--kevin-love-losing-patience-with-timberwolves--losing.html

Kevin Love is one of the league's best PF ..... however, it wasn't too long ago that he was drafted and it was just a few months ago that he signed his near-max contract extension.

IMO he's way too young, hasn't played enough 'meaningful' games and hasn't carried his team long enough to call-out his management team like this.

I really thought na gagawin nya to, he did sign an extension pero I know magsasawa din yun sa playoffs lang.. if nothing happens this season, mag rerequest na yan to be traded to another big 3, dadami na talaga big 3, small market teams will remain mediocre..
The Pats way...

if Melo will start playing like LBJ, hustling and rebounds, they'd be a good defensive team, hope they can get a defensive guard sayang sana wala na si Heinrich.. and a pass first type of guard.. not Lin or BD..

The recipe for success in the NBA  for now is to have a Big Three then surround them with 3-pt shooters like the Heat & Spurs.

In the case of the Knicks they have Novak & Kidd. It would be good to re-sign JR Smith.
Or maybe get another former NCAA 3-pt champion (like Novak) in Aaron Brooks or the un-drafted John Shurna.

Shooters who can also defend and can create their own shots are preferred though.
This is where Novak is suspect. Some shooters might as well have the Ball Racks beside them when shooting  ;D

..as in sa 3Pt Shootouts pag all star games.  :-X

Interesting article on How Steve Nash became a Laker

http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/8143205/nba-how-steve-nash-los-angeles-lakers-happened

At Team USA's training camp in Las Vegas, Bryant spoke of Nash in profanely reverential tones when someone asked him why he wanted to see Nash wearing purple and gold. "He's a bad mother------," Kobe said.

Miami gonna bring down the rain from downtown. ;D

halos lahat na sila pedeng tumira sa tres.

Starter:                     Bench:
Mario Chalmers*           Norris Cole*
Dwayne Wade*            Ray Allen*
LeBron James*             Shane Battier*, James Jones*
Chris Bosh*                 Rashard Lewis*, Udonis Haslem
Joel Anthony               Ronny Turiaf, Dexter Pittman

*can shoot behind the arc

nabawasan nga sila ng isang shooter dahil nagretiro na si Mike Miller pero dalawa naman ang pumalit sa kanya at hindi basta shooter lang ang pumalit.

Lol @ Kobe's remarks.  If you're as good as him, you can really say anything and the media won't give a f*** ano? :)  That's cool!

No official word yet on Mike Miller ...... if the docs clear him, he will still play. Turiaf is gone.

The HEAT has 2 slots left on the roster ...... probably re-sign Terrel Harris, Eddy Curry or their lone rookie draft pick.

If Riley wants to continue the minimum-vets fantasy-trip though ...... Grant Hill is still available.  ;)

Wow, parang 'Dream Team' na ang Miami if they add Grant Hill as well, who used to be one of the top 5 players of the NBA during his prime..

On NBA 2k13, this lineup will be very hard to play against if you have a CPU team of:
James, Wade, Bosh, Miller (?), Allen, Lewis, G. Hill (?), Chalmers.. Daya pa naman odds ng video games, so you will face 3-point basket after 3-point basket. Lol!
Don't fight it
