May bearing as far as Argentina is concerned.  They need to win to assure a 2nd place finish.  Even if USA loses, they are assured of 1st place.  Unless they lose by 110 points to Argentina.  But then again, I don't think USA will play easy tomorrow.  I have a feeling babawi ang mga ito sa nangyari sa Lithuania.

Pati sa youtube bihira lang mga highlights dun and very controlled ang broadcast and ownership ng NBC sa olympics.. grr! Meron ba sa AKTV?

Australia beats Russia, 82-80 via a buzzer beater by Spurs guard Patty Mills. Australia (3-2) could meet the USA in the QF if USA beats Argentina tomorrow. Russia is already assured of top spot in Group B.

Russia on the other end of a buzzer-beater this time around.. After beating Brazil on a 3 by Fridzon a few days ago, they lost to Australia earlier on a 3 by Patty Mills.. no bearing for both teams as Russia will still be 1st and Australia 4th in Group B but that was fun..

USA leads Argentina 34-32 at the end of 1st. BTV and Aktv airing the game. Am watching BTV coz it has better color and resolution.

No offense to Kobe fans( heck I'm a Kobe fan myself) but he just doesn't fit the system of international games. His patented one on one moves are simply not effective. Durant and Lebron are a perfect fit because they are team players.

Hindi malas si Kobe. Ganyan talaga maglaro yan. He needs to take and miss a lot of shots before he gets into a rhythm. Problema sa olympics, you don't have the luxury of time. Kelangan ratsada agad kundi ibabaon ka ng outside shooting ng kalaban. So IMO, team USA moves more fluidly without Kobe.
