Starving means you want so badly to taste your first championship.

Greedy means it tasted so good, you have to have more.

So the Lakers haven't won a single game since the preseason with their revamped unit. Very clearly, their offense is in disarray. Methinks Nash is uncomfortable with a set play offense. Hindi maka diskarte si Nash ng husto. Nash wants it constant motion and a run and gun offense. Dapat pati magaling pumwesto mga big man. E kanina puro sa labas play ni Gasol tapos mabagal pa si Howard. Kaya si Nash napipilitan mag shoot na lang. Not looking good for LA. Well it's only game 1.

Miami looks solid!

as expected Miami came out confident and ready to defend their title. good news sa mga heat fans while the lakers seem lost with mike brown at the helm. mukhang magiging maiksi ang pananatili ni coach brown sa LA, wag na muna niya i-unpack yung mga bagahe niya.

on a side note i like how wade conducted himself, shame on you rondo! while si KG naman bitterness ang drama. hahah!

Ray Allen looks so much at ease with Miami, immediately scoring 19 pts and the best player of the game. I think he scored more than his average in Boston. Si Coach Doc Rivers pala dati is the traditional type of coach na dapat sumunod ka lagi sa set plays. Unlike Spoelstra who gives his players the liberty to do what they want depending on the situation. This is what Allen wants so expect a more offensive Ray this year.

That flagrant foul by Rondo on Wade was uncalled for.  Napikon na si Rondo because Wade kept running rings around him.  Rondo is a good player but minsan lumalabas yun pagka kanto style talaga.  Wade, on the other hand, showed his finesse.  He kept his composure.

Dapat itong si Rondo kay Abueva o kay Belga matapat eh >:(

Wow.  Based on this game....looks like good decision for Harden to seek out the max deal, and for Houston for signing....superstar stat line so far.

Kamot ni Presti and OKC?  Well one game pa lang naman

So far 34-10ast-5reb-4stls......pang all nba numbers

Mike Brown really needs to go. he's not head coach material. 0-8 on the preseason and you'd guess that he figured something out. it only culminated to a loss to the Dirk-less Mavericks on opening night to say the least.

Thanks OKC for freeing the Beard.  37-12-6-4.  MVP stat line in first game.   And they won.

impressive stats by Harden. kudos to him but it's just against the Pistons. i'll wait 'til they battle against the beasts from both the western and eastern teams.

"Damian Lillard at the half: 9 pts, 7 assts, 2 rbs, 1 stl. If Steve Nash can't even win the battle against a rookie, the Lakers are doomed. "

Well, Nash isn't known for his defense. He'll get burned 90% of the time by speedy guards. Lalo na pag si Westbrook na or si Ty Lawson. Nakupo. haha

offense flowing smoother for Lakers in 1st half but still too many TOs at 13.. Howard shooting better at the FT line, going 11/14.. LA down 57-62 and Nash got hurt, looked like his ankle.. terrible defensive rotation in pick and rolls.. and the 2nd unit is their big problem.. Blazers made their run when the LA starters sat down..

I wonder why some people think that Harden is a marginal player..IMHO he is better than Westbrook in playmaking and certainly can score in bunches as well.  Stupid move by OKC in letting him go.

the moment the starters sat down.. Kobe's going to be pissed all season long if this continues.. and when he's pissed, it's him against the world.. not a good sign for LA.. they gotta let Brown go.. McMillan and Sloan are still available...

now it turned from bad to complete tragedy. Bryant slapped with a technical foul. it's just the beginning of the season and the Lakers are already imploding. it was never like this on Miami's big 3's first year run. come on Lakers, let go of Mike Down, er Brown i mean.

Coach Brown should be traded for Tacos. The way they are playing right now is exactly the same as last year. Nothing new.

Being a Lakers fan, it would have been easy to say that "it is just the 2nd game of the season"...BUT...me thinks...it is a coaching tragedy...same as last year...Honestly, it may have been better if Brian Shaw succeeded PJax. I guess Potata-Head has to go soonest!
