^i was surprised that Denver only got 75 pts, they're usually the fastest paced/highest scoring team around. Good job Philly!

Harden, Lin power Rockets to win in opener.  Harden scoring 37pts and a good combi with Lin, Houston trade was a good deal so far.

I wonder why some people think that Harden is a marginal player..IMHO he is better than Westbrook in playmaking and certainly can score in bunches as well.  Stupid move by OKC in letting him go.

Yeah. There's a reason why he was selected an Olympian over more heralded players. Ominous debut today (more assists than Linsanity), on the road pa (although vs. the Pistons lang).

Tomorrow, it's OKC's first game vs. the Spurs. It's going to be interesting to see how OKC plays with its new bench.

Houston visits OKC on November 28... :)

Here is a very good assessment on what happened with that OKC Trade.

Even without mastering Houson's playbook, If that's the kind of production Harden can pull off when given PT then imagine what he can do when warms up to his new team. let's see what he can do when they go up against playoff tested teams.

Having watched the 2 Lakers game, i just realized that Nash isnt a perfect fit to play point for the Lakers.
He's unable to force the up tempo style he's used to playing coz Bryant and Artest cant run with him and dont really move well and fast without the ball.
Lakers need an athletic wingman like Shaun Marion to get the most out of Nash.
With DH12 playing low post, Pau Gasol is now playing out of position.

Disagree re: Pau. In fact, with the new Princeton offense, he will benefit the most because of the movements.

Well, that remains to be seen probably after they played their 20th game of the season.

Gasol is a natural Forward. he was just pressed into playing the C position so many times because of Bynum's absence before. He should be able to co-exist with Howard.

^ for me, I think LAL's problem is more on Defense.. They have 3 elite defenders and yet, they allowed too many points.. Offense can be solved as season goes on , but their D must be addressed immediately..

The next few games for the Lakers doesn't look encouraging without Nash. Just wait when Duhon and Blake runs the floor. You'll hate them more than Mike Brown. Just look at Duhon -13 in 4 minutes. Who the Hell let's the team get outscored that much in so much little time on the floor?  :o

Yeah, nice game between SAS and OKC, with Parker's killer buzzer beater shot.  And thanks to Westbrook with his buwaya moves again >:(

WT%^^& itong si Westbrook talaga.  Does he know how to play point?!?  He kept taking ill advised shots instead of passing to No. 35.  Then the one time that he passed, in their most crucial play, he did so with a weak pass that got intercepted!! He's a great athlete but he's a nut case really.  Pati si Reggie Miller na nag cover ng games kept saying, "You gotta pass to No. 35, You gotta pass to No. 35".

And just look at this video how Westbrook made a defensive blunder that gave Parker the open last second shot :   Ang layo mo sa tao mo Westbrook!!

Agreed. When Westbrook was drafted, he was touted as a quick, pass-first defensive-minded point guard. This past year, his confidence in scoring increased and so does his ego and mentality. I prefer his game 2 years ago lalo na Harden is gone as their facilitator.

Check the stats...

just so that we are on the same page, we're talking about Nash and the Princeton Offense right? if i'm right to assume that, Nash's stats are 5.8 points and 4.3 assists (so far). not exactly MVP stats. Princeton Offense negates the Pick-and-Roll which is Nash's bread and butter. it renders Nash's skills useless since it doesn't need a traditional point guard to run it. it actually hides a team's weakness in the PG position, which is obviously not the Lakers' weakness.
