Frustrating to watch a team as talented as the lakers losing to teams they should be trashing. Mike brown should be cut off from the team. Masiyado nagtitipid sa coach si jim buss, tipid din sa panalo

If fans find it frustrating to watch, how do you suppose the players feel?  Mike Brown should just step down and not wait to be fired.

he wont step down. by the looks of things he is enjoying the money. if this gig doesnt work for him he might not be able to get a head coaching stint anymore in the NBA.

Pfft. LAkers go 0-2 and the sky is suddenly falling. Easy folks. I remember reading that the '91 Bulls started 0-3 using the triangle. Any team going through a new offensive structure is going to struggle. Remember, Howard was almost non-existent in the preseason, let alone training camp. They are breaking in new players as well in Nash, Jamison, Meeks, Duhon and Clark. Nash won't have the same stats like assists like when he ran pick and roll ad infinitum in Phoenix. Basically, the Princeton offense wants everyone to get a touch with movement without the ball being emphasized. It's not the traditional PG pounding the ball the whole 24 seconds of a possession and setting up plays. Give it time. I will panic if at the second half of the season the LAkers are below .500

Not really a good basis for comparison. That Bulls team had the greatest player of all time as well as arguably the greatest coach of all time and one of the most versatile 2 way player in Pippen.

korek!

considering at that time (90-91) they dont have a championship ring yet. they're banged by the pistons badboys 0-3 in the conference finals.

Kobe says "SHUT UP!"  ;D

"Shut up," a bemused Bryant demanded. "Have patience. Let us do our job."

    He was just getting started.

"I just, I don't understand," Bryant said. "The city here, for me, not trying to bite my tongue and not calling them dumb, which I kind of just did, but they've seen us win multiple championships here playing in an offense that was tough to learn.

"They know how that stuff works. So for them to be so stupid now and say, `Let Steve dribble the ball around and create opportunities for everybody. Let Dwight (Howard) post up. Or let me iso.'

    "I won't say idiotic, but it's close."

Not a Kobe or Lakers fan here but the man has a point, c'mon the season is just starting  ::)

What I find idiotic is getting a player who is, arguably, the best post-up player of the league and not maximizing his strength; getting a player who is, arguably, the best point guard in the league and not allowing him to make plays for his teammates and thus making them look better; and having a player who is, arguably, the best one-on-one player in the league and not giving him enough space to work with.

Now, if Kobe is willing to give the new offense a try, why not. But, it still is idiotic.

Jason Kidd could have been a much better point guard for the Laker's style of play.
More of half court type with post players in Gasol and Howard plus the isolation plays for Bryant.

Kidd, Blake and Sessions sana ang point guard rotation ng Lakers.

Nash better off playing for OKC with Westbrook and Durant running the breaks.

Not an expert but I don't think HOU will last the whole season by running the same plays, iso on Harden and Lin, parang walang ibang option on Offense..

This is how I view Miami's offense, majority on iso but yeah, harden + lin isn't the same as lebron + wade.

nice start by LA against Detroit :-)

after watching a few games by Dwight on LA uniform I can't help but compare him to Shaq. The only similarity is they both can't shoot FTs but other than that I would say Shaq is quite ahead in terms of talent level.

Shaq was virtually unstoppable during his LA days. quick for his size and so strong, no one can contain him so teams decided to use the Hack-a-Shaq play. also, he has more offensive moves than DH12.

although medyo nag bago na ngayon ang game. halos hindi na uso ang post-up plays because of some rule change kaya advantage din kay Shaq nuon.

okc beaten by josh smith-less hawks.

I think we should see more of Maynor as the season progresses. Having Durant as OKC's primary playmaker in most plays just isn't gonna work out.

And Westbrook just sucked so much in that game.

Shaq is better than Dwight. More powerful, more offensive moves and way better passer. Shaq just need to reel in the hate on Dwight coz its making him look silly and bitter.
