I remember miami's first year together (lebron era). At some point during the start of the season they were at sub .500, 8-9 i think.  Then they went on a 20-1 run, and ended up fighting for a championship.

parang may mali kasi sa offense ng LA. most of the time iso pa rin bago maubos ang shotclock. with the way they are playing mukang kailngan ng divine intervention.

right now, I'd take Kobe on isolation over any other offense for LA.. at least more often than not, he scores.. they kept dumping the ball to Howard pero palaging butas ang kamay.. pag nafoul, di maka-shoot ng FT.. si Gasol naman di maitulak yung defender.. si Metta, walang control.. Kobe kept getting his teammates some open looks kanina pero walang maka-shoot..

I think it would be better for the Lakers to lose some more games para masipa na si Mike Brown.. at this point, I'd take Kobe coaching LA over Mike Brown.. ;D

Lakers first 5 games during Kwame Brown era:

05-06 (Post Shaq era) - 3-2
06-07> 4-1
07-08> 3-2

Gasol era:
08-09> 5-0

Mike Klown's princeton offense:

12-13> 1-4 (and the 1 win was a gimme because it was Detroit. Sheesh)

Umuusok ang balita :  JERRY SLOAN TO LAKERS.

Watched the game.  Lakers was pathetic.  In the 3rd Quarter, Lakers could've made a run since Utah was playing like chickens.  But lo and behold, Lakers played like ducks!  Antokwa naman oh...

If Lakers continue to play the way they did in their losses, delikado pa sila sa Bobcats!!  Durog sa Miami yan pag ganyan.

Lakers fans will definitely welcome this.. count me in. :D

Pick and roll was perfected by Stockton and Malone during Sloan's term.  Now, it can be Nash and Howard and/or Gasol.

Heck,I'd welcome a return to the league by Jerry Sloan on ANY team.one of the game's greatest tacticians to never win a ring.If he does sign with LA,might be his best chance since the Stockton to Malone heyday :)

Parang ayaw na mag respond ng players kay Brown. When players are demotivated no matter how talented they are they will under perform.

Sloan? Oh hell yeah! The guy never had a lineup that didn't work hard on any given night. Execution is his forte. Something that this current Lakers bunch doesn't have presently.

Same observation.  Had coffee with my friend just now. And being frustrated NBA analysts, we share the same opinion -- Lakers are not giving it their all cos they want Sloan and they are not in favor of the Princeton offense.  Princeton will render Nash irrelevant because the Princeton takes away the ball from the PG.  Wawa naman Nash.  Not his game.  So matatalo pa yan maybe until December until masibak si Brown,  Oh well, let's see...

And Sloan seems interested in the Lakers that's why he turned down the Portland offer.

this is bad for the team they are all paid pro athletes, regardless of who their coach and what play it is, they should give their all...  and this is bad for Kobe, being the leader of the lakers.. Wala pa kasing identity, it will take time.. But first, They need to fix that d, bug bog si Dwight parang walang katulong sa loob..

di ba si Sloan ang coach ni Malone at Stockton for so long a time? so pwede na ulit makita yung matinding pick and roll kay howard at nash?

kaya lang di ba haggang mag retire si stockton di sya nag champion at di napg champion ni sloan ang jazz?

mas may tsansa kaya kung si sloan ang lakers?

Malas lang ng Utah back then coz palaging nakakatapat nila sa finals is the one and only Air Jordan. In hindsight nakalusot lang naman ang Houston ng back to back trophies coz Jordan decided to play baseball. If it weren't for that the Bulls could have won 8 straight titles.
