i really think that brandon roy is finished. kahit nung nasa portland pa lang siya eh. yes he could recover but main problem is yung mobility niya to play high level of basketball.

Was actually wondering why Minnesota even signed Roy pa. Lam ko nabalita na before na he's done na.

I don't get it.  What did Jeremy Lin do to merit such a stare down from Kobe?  Can someone explain why?  I found it a little bit "arrogant".

Kobe was asked during the post game interview about the stare down.

Quote
"[Flopping] doesn't belong here. We're grown-as* men, you don't need to be falling all over the place.
  ;D

walang kwenta din yung flopping rule ng nba since di naman referees tumatawag during the game. nirereview lang ng NBA after the game, sa dami na ng flop na nangyayari less than 10 cases pa lang yung nakikita nila based dun sa nabasa ko.

para sa akin din useless yung flopping rule. flopping is part of basketball, just let the referees handle it. naalala ko tuloy si mick penisi :)

I think if Brandon Roy was just 100% healthy, he is a Top 5 Shooting Guard in the League

Alright, Lin did flop.  Saw the replay.  He deserves Kobe's stare down.  Back in the day, a certain player (Generalao) was nudged lightly by Jawo, fell down and acted as if he was really hurt.  This prompted Jawo to act as if he was holding a reel camera filming while Generalao was "grimacing" in pain.  At one point, Jawo would do gay motions with hands and hip pag merong mga floppers sending a message na hey, para kayong mga babae!

hopefully brandon roy gets to follow his rehab plan and maybe have his doctors help him in deciding if kaya pa ba talaga and also his family should pitch in on the decision.

When will Mike D debut as Laker's coach? Against what team? I hope it's a title contender team specially in the east either Miami or New York.

ganda sana ng lineup ng blazers back then if roy and oden was just healthy. on paper, the oden/aldridge/batum/roy was a scary lineup back in 09 and 10. yun lang, they weren't able to play together that much because of those injuries.

bukas daw vs Brooklyn but that could change again like last time.. what I want to see is the Memphis game on the 24th.. Memphis is hot so that would be a good gauge for the team's progress..

Roy was then touted as the 3rd best SG behind Kobe, and Wade.

that loss really doesn't affect their momentum much because it was a close game.. Memphis' confidence is really high going into their game against the Lakers, having won against Miami, OKC and New York by double-digit margins.. that Lakers-Memphis game should be the start of the D'Antoni watch, gauging how his system fares against the top teams.. but the game against Brooklyn later could be good as well.. Brooklyn's on a 5-game winning streak though it was mostly against sub-par teams..

Haha bakit parang ang dating nito eh sobrang laki ng impact ni Pringles. Di naman siya ang maglalaro. He can ask his staff to exercise his mandate. It's still up to the players to execute. Kung player si Pringles maiintindihan ko pa yung anticipation for his Lakers debut. But he is a coach who sits on the bench. Pagaling na lang muna siya. :D

Malaki kasi ang difference ng may coach sa bench.  Simply compare the lakers during and post mike brown.  Specifically before mike d sat on the bench and may world of difference na sa laro.

erm. D'antoni's system is being implemented already even without him being on the bench. I don't foresee any drastic improvement once he finally sits on the bench. Siguro more consistency na lang but it's not as drastic as people seem to anticipate.

The coach is there to guide the players. In the end, players pa din ang mag-e-execute. Kaya whether D'Antoni is sitting on the bench or not, as long as his system is being executed, I don't mind kelan pa siya mag debut.

As for Mike Klown, sana di na siya mabanggit. His name brings back horrible memories. Sheesh. He wasted 4 games for the lakers.

His presence may pump up the adrenalin of the players. Sympre new coach, new system and it gets everybody excited lalo na run and gun un style ng coach and everybody loves extremely high scoring games db?
Perhaps the Lakers can shoot the lights out and score 200 points in a single game.

but like i said, his system is already in place. his presence will only add very little to what is already being done by the players. It's not that big of a deal whether he debuts soon or a little later because the system is already running and the players are enjoying it already

I agree, probably the differemce a head coach makes is when to properly call time outs in close games. Wether its to stop momentum for the opposing teams or just proper timing to rest starters when you cant risk pulling them out, game savvy ba.

This. And Bernie Bickerstaff is doing a really great job at calling time outs and he has a nice rotation of players. Something that was not there during Mike Dumb Brown's tenure. Kaya nga, I don't see why some people are anxious to see D'Antoni on the bench when he needs to get healthy and Bernie is doing a great job implementing D'Antoni's system. :)

ang gulo talaga ng rotation ni mike brown, for example si ebanks first player off the bench and naglaro naman ng significant minutes tapos next game biglang DNP. kaya meeks is struggling din dahil sa awful rotation na yan ni brown eh. wala ng confidence sa tira kasi at times mag mintis lang sya ng isa labas agad then next game DNP na rin and eventually napunta na sya sa doghouse ni mike brown. saka yung pag manage nya ng minutes, babad na babad yung starters. kaya i'm really relieved na wala na sya. he was really holding the team back. madalas hirap na hirap sila maka score dahil stagnant yung offense. hurried shots pa minsan dahil paubos na shot clock. eh kumpara naman ngayon, ang ganda ng flow ng offense. the players look like they really enjoy playing now. they're loose saka mukhang mga ganado talaga maglaro.

Parang we're placing too much emphasis sa. 'mukhang mas ganado sila maglaro'

Gimme a break.you're paid millions to play a GAME,and hindi ka pa gaganahan?pag uninspired ka,coach mo sisisihin mo?
