^ being a fan, kasi hindi naman all the time na matalo ang team na favorite natin ay may depensa tayong may kulang, may mali sa system...

if nanalo ang team natin....be happy...

pag natalo naman...accept it wholeheartedly...

With the way the team is assembled now, Lakers have a two year window (Only Nash is signed through 2014-15 season).   Theres no denying that the owners and Kupchak have given the orders to D Antoni, and he has also said it....its  title or bust.    So fans naturally expect it too.

^ that's a trap game, bad team they were supposed to beat.. Well every great team experience that, the good thing here for lal fans is that  after a trap game its usually followed by a  winning streak.. Say 5 or 7.. :)

disclaimer: not an LAL fan here.. Go spurs..

Given the advancing age of the core, not to mention the talent,it's understandable to expect nothing less.

Pero yan din sabi nila about miami 2 years ago ;D

Come on guys. Positive or negative man ang i-highlight or kantyawan e as long as insightful e welcome naman, lakers man or ibang team. Tama, mas may passion lang so far LAkers fans sa pag dissect ng games nila. Or maybe the other teams' fans just dont want to or fell they dont need to contribute. Heck, it would be great to pick on teams, as long as it makes the thread active then go for it.

Ironically, i've been a boston fan for a long time because of larry then rooted for the bulls when pippen started to peak and now i like the lakers because of d12 but for all my admiration of lbj's skills i cant find myself to root for his team. Weird!

Sino idol ni Lebron??

http://www.usatoday.com/story/gameon/2012/11/21/jack-taylor-grinnell-138-points-ncaa-record-nba-reaction/1718587/

LeBron James compares Jack Taylor's 138-point game to Kobe, Wilt

"It's unbelievable, honestly, " James said via ESPN.com. "I would like to see the game. I want to see the game."

"I watched Kobe's game when he had 81. I watched some of the greatest games ever played when guys scored big numbers. There's two games that I would love to see: One was Wilt, when he had 100, and this kid. I want to see him, too. Sir Jack."

Back in the 70's there's a guy here named Cesar Dumlao, owner nung Dumlao Gym sa Shaw, who scored 148 pts, yes 148 pts! in the GCAA (gov't amateur league) This was the time wala pang 3 pts!!. FYI, Mr Lebron and Kobe...

jack Taylor shot the ball every 20 something seconds of that game..what did the other 4 team mates do? Rebound and give him the ball again? Kung ako kakampi nun baka I-flagrant 2 ko yun sa inis sa kanya.

Ang nangyari dun kay Chuck este Jack Taylor, binaboy nila ang laro ng basketbol para magkaroon ng publicity ang school:

Quote

"The strategy was to use a full court press after a made basket, with the caveat that [the player seeking the record] would not cross into the defensive side of the court. So, after our opponents broke our press, we were essentially playing four-on-five, which enabled the other team to take quicker shots and fall into our game plan.

"The rationale is to essentially trade off a quick two or more attempts at lower probability 3-point shots. Given the high pace required for the system, Grinnell shifts in five players every 30 to 45 seconds. Within each shift there is a primary shooter who will take the bulk of threes (or shots) during the shift."

Quote

There were a LOT of possessions where Taylor would chuck up a shot, miss, and his teammate would get the rebound wide open under the basket. Instead of putting it back up, he would look for Taylor again and pass it out so he could chuck another three. There were many possessions where this happened three times each. Six three-point attempts in two trips down the court.

Literally 75% of [Faith Baptist's] points were full court heaves to get it over Grinnell's press, then a wide open layup on the other end. Oh, and David Larsen's "impressive" 70-point effort? Hardly. They were 90% wide open layups. He maybe took a handful of jump shots.

Quote
The announcer actually said that Grinnell will look on their schedule for their weaker opponents and do everything they can to run up the score and break records. This is all within the game plan. One tactic the announcer mentioned was called "The Bomb Squad". If Grinnell's opponent gets into the double bonus, Grinnell will sub in five freshmen players, foul their opponent immediately once the ball is in play, send them to the line, then sub the freshmen players out to put their scorers back in on offense. This takes almost no time off the clock, giving their starters as many offensive possessions as possible.

Oh yes. Miami fans will resurrect come playoff time.

Reason why Heat Fans are silent is 'di na masyado kailangan i-defend ang Miami, wala na din kasi masyado bashers.  ::)

Plus most of the Haters "ate crow" last season.  :)  :D  ;D

siyempre nung lumipat si Lebron and Bosh. Pag umalis si Lebron, wala na din Heat "fans"
