Hihihihi, welcome to the band wagon.  All iknow is that i rooted for them because of Zo.  I wanted Zo to get his ring amd retire although i was more of a Nowitzki fan in 06, i did not feel bad at all kasi dami old timers non na nagka sing sing.  And they were deserving. Aside from that, i never supported the heat, was always a pippen fan wherever he went. :) kahit talunan na yung portland. Hehehe

LET'S GO BOBCATS ;D

Come to think of it, it would be great to see Charlotte go all the way.  Imagine Jordan being interviewed again and hugging the limelight.  WOW!!

Ako, Boss kanina lang mga 6:30AM  ;D

Kidding, I think I already answered that question last season.

I was a former Phoenix Suns fan, when Steve Nash was there.

I rooted for Suns and Heat last season.

Now I am secretly rooting for Lakers and still a so called Heat fan  8)

Been a Heat fan since Wade came. Liked him more than James. And even before when Mourning is still playing though not that much.

Walang ingay masyado Heat ngayon kasi they're just doing what they're supposed to be doing. Nothing extra. Siguro pag natalo yan ng mga 3 sunod o nagkaroon ng mahabang winning streak saka ulit mapagusapan. :)

Mas trend ata ngayon na player ang loyalty instead sa team.

I bleed purple and gold since late 80s, and im just in my early teens then.   When Shaq was traded, didnt followed him.  Even if Kobe will be traded or sign with another team, will treat him as such....a Laker opponent.

Now, if Lebron will become a Laker.....of course ill cheer for him na.   Magkakaroon lang ng konting adjustment period hehe.

hardcore team fan as well. Players come and go but my loyalty remains with the Purple and Gold. I doubt Heat "fans" can say the same thing. hehe

I'm relatively young though. I was in grade school during the 90s but when my dad introduced me to basketball, i was just suckered in by the Lakers. The year before Kobe was drafted, that was when I became a fan. Eddie Jones and Nick the Quick na inabutan ko nun.

Unlike many Filipinos, I never went through the "idolizing Jordan" phase. In fact, nung Jazz kalaban nila, I would root for Malone and Stockton. Wala akong kakampi.hahaha

Me I was Player Fan first.

Dr. J
Bird
Jordan-Pippen
Rodman

I was an Allen Iverson(76ers, Denver) fan before 2006 and then became a Wade fan.
Was a Kobe Hater but 2008 Finals when they lost to the Celtics changed that because of his no-surrender attitude.

But I don't think I'll be switching Teams anymore because of a Player. :)

Go HEAT! :)

*kelan nga ulit Finals? Sa June pa noh? Hehehe

i'm probably around the same age as you but i've been a Heat fan even before you got into basketball. even before Zo became a Heat player and back when Glen Rice was the "star" of team but i really became a full blooded fan about the same time the Heat-Knicks rivalry happened. I was a Heat fan before Wade came into the picture though Wade is my favorite player of all time. I was a fan when they won their first title last 05-06 season. I was still supporting the Heat when they were the worst team with a 15-67 record in the 07-08 season. I'm still a Heat fan when the "Big Three" united and lost in the Finals being mocked by 90% of NBA fans. An extremely jubilant fan when they won last season and still a big fan right now.

sure you're a Lakers "fan" but who isn't? i'm also a Lakers fan, by the way back when Divac was the center and Cedric Ceballos was the star. the Lakers is either an easy team to like or an easy team to hate, really. you haven't even experienced your team slumping all throughout the season like i did with the Heat. so don't go around boasting and preaching that you've been a long time "hardcore" team fan and bashing Heat fans.

Was a Showtime fan and has always bled P&G eversince. I hated anything Boston(much respect to the rivalry though) and never did like MJ but admired his fierce competitiveness. As I grew up, i learned to hate the players, but never their game. Thats why i dont mind throwing stones at any superstar but give props when they deserve it.

Good for you that you're a real fan and not just a bandwagon fan like most of my friends. I guess i should've pointed out that it was a generalization but real fans are the exception.

I actually have better respect for people who stick it out with their team no matter what. Our loyalty may not be rewarded but the joy of seeing our teams winning is one great feeling. I started watching games in 95, i think i was only in 2nd/3rd grade. Haha

Mourning, Hardaway, Mashburn era ng heat na yung nasubaybayan ko talaga. :D

Kaya lang naman siguro madaming heat fans e because of lbj and wade, arguably two of the most popular players right now.soon as they wear another uniform,I'm almost sure the heat's fanbase would dwindle considerably.imagine miami having Joel Anthony as their marquee player ;D

pano naman ako, after watching slam dunk contest (85-86?) i was an MJ fan na then evolved to a bulls fan (F*CK timi ilan taon tayo nito! :D ).
never "changed" teams.  every year though after playoffs, i always routed for eastern conference champions vs the west.  *except dallas vs heat (im also a dirk fan).  bandwagonista parin?
