true. hanggang nandyan si carmelo. lahat ng lipatan nyang team minamalas. may balat ata. i would rather have amare than carmelo.

Dwight with only 4 points and 7 rebounds? Di ata talaga fit to sa Lakers. Pagbalik ni Nash kagulo na naman sila nyan.

Both big men for Lakers big fail na naman. Pau and Dwight. Sabi ni D'Antoni if his players can't run in his system, maybe they need to find players who can. So long Pau Gasol na yata? hahaha

D'Antoni on why Pau was benched in the 4th: "I was thinking I'd like to win this game, that's what I was thinking." Ouch!

Pau is a shoe in to be traded before the Feb trading deadline. as talented as he is the other holes in LA's lineup needs to be plugged. they need to get more athletic and faster not to mention younger in order to play the D'Antoni system. They will free up minutes for Jordan Hill who is a double double magnet on every given night even without a play called out for him. He can be a poor man's Kenneth Faried if he gets the minutes.  Johnson Odom is also a player that needs PT in order improve. that kid has the highest athletic ability in that team. Unfortunately he doesnt get the minutes to showcase his talent.

I think D'Antoni doesn't really like Jordan Hill. He never used the guy in New York and in the past 2 games, he's been using Jamison over Hill at the 4 spot. If Gasol gets traded, I don't expect Hill's minutes to go up.

quite true. D'Antoni has the reputation of sticking to 8 or 9 players in his rotation. the others just serve as practice players. it would be quite unfortunate if that happens. Hill more than makes up for his lack of finesse by working hard.

Huwhat! Natalo LAkers! Oh my gosh! The sky is falling!

Patience is a virtue, V2 haha.   Here we go again.   Frustrating game to watch especially when Pau missed open jumpers and fumbled to secure rebounds, and no wonder he was benched in the 4th.  Pau and Kobe had the worst +/- rating in the game, -23 and -22 respectively.    Kobe went into hero ball and we all know that wont cut it with an emerging team like Memphis.

Regarding Dwight, Sac and Mem did a great job packing the paint.  They let the Lakers shoot in the perimeter, and in the times he was given the ball, he was stripped most of the time.

Theres no more reason to panic, coz the panic had died down already for me hehe.   Im just waiting for the Steves to return.   Though Nash is nowhere near to playing, just hoping when he returns some semblance of stability will be good.

Talo Lakers coz they didnt score more than 110 points.
Same same lng tlga and mga teams handled by D'Antoni.
If his team scored high over 110 points, chances are they win but when opposing teams limit them to less than 100 points, chanes are laging talo.

No excuses but i think D'Antoni isn't comfortable with the team's line up.
I hope they can trade for Leoandro Barbosa to back up Nash just in the very near future.

Boston isn't giving up Barbosa. He is playing very well for them. LA needs to develop their young talent. Invest in PT and opportunities. It will pay off in the long run.

Andrew Bynum out indefinitely. So whay else is new?

Raja Bell to LA? Nooooo! That dude is done. Mikael Pietrus na lang.
And Kobe just put on the offensive blinders in Memphis. There really is no excuse not to give D12 less than 12 shots a game and Pau is right, he needs more low post plays for him.

Exactly! also for Marion from the Mavs. 3 former Suns playing with DH and Kobe.

The BIG men of the Lakers get limited touches when D'Antoni system requires them to run instead of maximizing their height and heft advantage and have them pound the ball from inside.

Yeah, D'Antoni doesn't really like Jordan Hill.. Jamison's playing a lot of 4 spot now.. D'Antoni seems to be tweaking the rotation.. Kobe's playing point to start the 2nd..

Clippers, meanwhile, are on a slump.. getting blown out by Hawks now and on their way to a 3rd straight loss..
