Ibabalik daw si Mike Brown ;D  Princeton offense talaga ang solusyon :o

Lakers could have won the game had they made some FTs and MWP had scored more than 4 points.  Again, no bench scoring.

I don't care who the head coach is ........ the LAKERS shooting 23/43 (53%) on FT's cost them the game.

Kudos to a sick Kobe, for hitting 40 pts ....... but those 10 TO's are major downers.

That's the one major downside to getting Dwight Howard (well, aside from the max salary and the resulting tax hit it brings) ...... his poor FT shooting will rear it's ugly head during the close games.

The LAKERS badly need Nash to come back ...... provide some stability to this group.

It's still very early in the season ...... I fully expect the LAKERS to rack up the wins, once they get their PG's back.

with the lakers lineup they should be able to have double digit leads to offset DH poor free thrown shooting

kaya sabi ng karamihan mas bagay si phil jackson, sa triangle, anyone sa floor can bring up the ball and initiate the offense, kung si pj siguro ang coach, andami na strong performances ni howard

Got to give props to the PACERS ....... despite the slow start to the season (losing main scorer Granger), this team is expected to contend in the East ...... they're just a tough matchup.

Like I said, I don't care who the head coach is ...... the LAKERS missing 20 FT's is absolute killer ..... cost them the game.

It was an ugly game where nobody could make a basket.  Both teams shot below 40% and it wasnt even great defense, there was just a lid on both baskets.

LA looks very tired at this point of the season.  If Nash doesnt turn out to be as promised by D'Antoni in terms of being the key that will jump start the offense then they are in deep crap. For sure if this would be the kind of season that D12 will have (10 average shots per game for the last 3 games) he will bolt out after this season. He is being under utilized.

I think the Lakers will bounce back.  But baka towards the playoffs na.  Ganito rin yun Miami before.

The difference lang is.... does L.A. still have that "out of this world" player?  Miami certainly has that...maybe even 2.

I don't think LA can flip on a switch come playoff time, imo.

They play too old, slow, predictable, and downright tired.

All those missed FTs surely can't be blamed on the coach now,can it?

Lakers scored only 77 points in a game?
As D'Antoni said before he debut as coach, they have to talk if the team isnt scoring the 100-115 points mark per game.

As D'Antoni said before he debut as coach, they have to talk if the team isnt scoring the 100-115 points mark per game.

Well, they have to do a lot of talking.  And they have to do a lot of practice in free throw shooting.  Had they converted only 3 of their 20 missed free throws, they could have won.  Turnovers, yeah turnovers are hounding the Lakers in most of their lost games.  Missed free throws are maybe largely due to fatigue.

With Nash out, Lakers can't afford catch up basketball.  If Kobe will play PG, Lakers need to build leads early in the game.  Which means other players need to score. Kobe looks good if others score.  Kobe racks up triple double if others score.   If MWP, Duhon, Meeks, Gasol shoot blanks then this puts the load on Kobe to score.  Kobe CAN'T score and give others easy baskets.  He is not a playmaker.  He is a scorer.  Unlike Nash who creates plays and situations and can make even Sacre score a few baskets.  So IMO, Lakers will struggle if they don't have a reliable PG or Nash around.

If Kobe scores a LOT they often lose. Take note...I'm sure the guy wants to score since that is his forte but at this point of his career he'd rather win.

Houston plays OKC today - Harden's homecoming. 9AM on NBA Premium. This should be quite an emotional game for both sides.
We deserve better.
