In retrospect, last year when Melo was out Linn and Amare combined for a solid one two punch for NY during that mesmerizing win streak led by a former benchwarmer. When Melo came back they were like back to square one in terms of cohesion. They haven't posted a good record yet when BOTH Melo and Amare are in the lineup if I'm not mistaken.

I remember way back when Amare was in the Suns with Steve Nash prior to the micro fracture episode. he shredded the Spurs in the playoffs single handedly with that deadly P&R. He was a nightmare to contain with his freakish athleticism. Nowadays he is a shell of what he used to be. Still good enough but not great.

He's like the clichéd square peg trying to fit in a round hole, imo.and given how injury prone he has been, especially of late, and add to the fact his production doesn't deserve his superstar salary,e imo he really has to go.
Ot: what's with this I hate winter stuff bro?Ang saya kaya ;D

the knicks doesn't have a solid PF though so Amare will probably help in that department.

**i hate winter man. it's not fun staying inside. NYC needs to be enjoyed by going around but winter makes it impossible to go out and have fun. chilly wind blowing on your face like small iciles pricking your skin. I guess I'm just not used to it...but even my friends in NYC hate the winter season.hehe /end of OT haha

Did I read that right, close game ang lakers vs bobcats??

Yup. Before the game, the Bobcats was the only other team besides Boston that had a winning record vs the Lakers. Yeah, it's surprising to see the Lakers keep it close vs the Bobcats and even pulled off a win. The world's probably going to end soon. ;D

Brother mattia nakakatawa mukha ni pau jan ah. Parang nakadrugs at basag lang!

Medjo sabog pa talaga system ni d'antoni. Puro experiment pa. Thats the problem pag in-season ka nahire. No perks of training camp. The mike brown after-effect.

Read on the net that Mike D'Antoni plans to slide Kobe to SF, and start Jodie Meeks at SG. MWP will continue to come off the bench. The experiment continues... Unfortunately, this experiment will be tested against the red-hot GS Warriors. Hope Nash returns by then (probably limited minutes though).
We deserve better.

+1.  I think MD would be performing better with one training camp under his belt.

hindi ba mahihirapan na si kobe to guard bigger and faster SFs like Lebron, Durant and Anthony with his age?

I'm quite sure that its going to be tough task for him guarding those guys and still be relied upon to carry the offensive burden....be it by his choice or to the chagrin of his team mates.

Lamar Odom could have spelled a big difference with the D'Antoni system.
I hope the Lakers can lure him back since his carreer seemed to have ended after leaving the Lakers.

Lamar Odom is done. There's no room for someone who is mentally weak in the NBA. Wala nang confidence yan si Odom. Focus na lang siya sa Kardashian nya. too bad it's the ugly Kardashian that he married. hahaha

His game blossomed under Phil Jax and the Lakers so joining the Lakers again could rejuvinate his career.

Lamar odom blossomed kasi malakas line up ng LA that time. Tamad at may attitude pag weak teams ang sinalihan, walang leadership qualities.

Its not that simple.   In fairness, Lamar lived a complicated life.  Father was a heroin addict, and her mother died when he was twelve.   In 2006, his infant son died from SIDS.   The offseason after getting the 6th man of the year award, a close cousin died and when the SUV he was riding was involved in an accident killed a teenage cyclist, thats where he considered taking a break from basketball.

He came to Laker camp terribly out of shape.   Got traded twice by Lakers, and it was downhill from there.  He also came to Clipper camp fat....but Ive read reports that he is losing the excess baggage gradually.

Lakers new rotation:  http://www.nba.com/lakers/news/121219_newrotation

Starters: Nash, Jodie Meeks, Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol, Dwight Howard
Subs: Chris Duhon, Darius Morris, Metta World Peace

tingin ko sa 4qtr bench starter are duhon, morris, MWP, Hill/Jamison, Pau
