Even if they won against phoenix it would have been 21-25 and just 3 games better than your prediction.  The new found playing style of the lakers should still win them games, the lakers untimely offensive collapse was even punctuated by d12's shoulder injury.

I thought this game was lost due to their non-existent transition defense. Lalo na sa 4th q.

they also had a season-high 9 turnovers in in a quarter...

Beast mode bigla si Beasley,a baffling player.

I can't believe natalo pa ang Lakers tsk tsk tsk.. now back to square one.

Not just transition D, even their half-court D was missing in the 4th. Nash and Clark got beat easily by Dragic and Beasley, respectively. Their help defense was nowhere to be found especially when Howard went out. I also think D'Antoni made a mistake by pulling out Jamison early in the 4th when the Suns were making a run. He was making shots all game unlike MWP.

I thought this was a sure fire win by the Lakers. Phoenix is worse than the Hornets.

Geez, I left the house start of 4th thinking Lakers will breeze through PHX.  My son (half day from school) texted me that Lakers lost.  I went "HUWAAT?" Phoenix is a "gimme" in a 7 game road trip.  These are games that they should win to enter the playoffs.  Sama din laro yata ni Steve Nash eh noh?  Oh well...

Kobe missed an easy layup that could have tied the game?  Sobrang kaka assist yata eh nakalimutan na mag shoot.

First they let go of O.J. Mayo. Then traded Speights & Ellington & now Rudy Gay. Feel bad for the Griz but who knows, Tayshaun could be their savior & Daye finally plays to his full potential.

Such a loss when they have dealt Rudy Gay. Suddenly Toronto is a contender

I think they're looking to do both (save and win). The Grizzlies are only 17-13 after starting the season 12-2, and Gay is having his worst season yet from a efficiency standpoint. I think that the management is under the impression that they're not gonna go very deep in the playoffs if the roster stays intact.

Also, Memphis hired John Hollinger (advanced analytics guru from ESPN) earlier this year. Maybe some of his principles went into play in the execution of this trade. I'm really curious how this works out for them.

Suddenly Toronto is a contender

Nah, man. They've gotten better with the Gay trade but they're still a mediocre team w/ plenty of bad contracts.

I saw the video just now of Westbrook.  The guy is such a passionate freak kaya can't blame him for that.  I'd rather have someone like that who loves to win than someone who gets injured every so often ( like DH12 )...

Howard out again tonight :(

Just trade the guy as I have said.  He's more of a liability talaga.  And I'm telling you, when he gets traded  biglang magiging healthy ulit yan...

Here's a nice article ---

http://lakernation.com/why-kobe-was-the-key-all-along/

The Lakers will be tested again tonight against The Minnesota Timberwolves and I hope to see the new look Kobe Bryant out there on the court. If the Lakers falter back to their old ways we may as well throw the rest of the season away, as most of you already have.  The Lakers seem to have found a silver lining in this disaster of a season and if they can look to that during hard times they will be successful and begin to chalk up some W’s when it counts.  Here we go Los Angeles, let’s see what we’re made of.

Agree!!!

Even if d12 proves to be a bust they wont trade him, too much marketing value eh.  Its like the mda coaching move, its wrong but the franchise will live with it.

Rudy Gay is playing inspired, as TOR routs LAC (without CP3 though)...

IND is showing it can be a contender in the East. Granger is also scheduled to return before the ASB...

We deserve better.

Agree. And to add, trading Howard would make Jim Buss look like a fool.   ;D.   Just like firing MDA would prove Jim incompetent. And would you think the owner will allow himself to look like a moron?  You get only 1 chance to guess. :D
