Boston wins by 2 points...over the Clips. Hahaha.

Life is good.

2 out of 3 right now.

Now, hoping the Raptors win over the Heat...

Off night from Kobe, only 5 assists ;D

But here's a nice dunk from Mamba.  Pero parang nasaktan yata after.  Tumatanda na eh hehehe.

Dahil sa panalo ng heat today against raptors, si coach spoe na ang magcocoach ng Eas All Stars!

well...not bad for NY Coach Woodson to finish 2nd. he was just an assistant coach of NY when he inherited the reigns over that team due to the resignation of MDA.

i think it's just 4 games to get a .500 record but it's 7 games(including losses) behind 8th place houston.

Actually its 3.5 games. They need to win at least 4 then hope that Houston loses 4 and LA is in the 8th seed. Very achievable within the span of two weeks.

The reason why it's 7 games is because 4 games to win plus 3 games they lost that they had to make up for. Given it's the Western Conference, it's rare for an 8th seed to just have a 50% record.

It's pretty obvious that Gasol and DH12 cannot co exist in LA and Bryant compliment Gasol more than DH12.

That won't be enough if Houston or Utah win more games as well. So both need to go on a losing streak for the Lakers to catch up.

I agree. skillset-wise, Gasol's passing and midrange shooting looks like a good compliment to Howard's inside game but in reality, it looks like the Lakers are playing better with Gasol on the post without Howard.

I actually think its the reason why LA started winning, one of them came off the bench(pau).  Both are post players and unlike duncan and robinson, who both have a decent mid range game,  they couldnt co-exist.

Though both of them had a very good midrange shot (Duncan and Rob), the key in their tandem is that David had to give up his Alpha Dog status to Duncan and concentrate on the defensive side of things which he was very good at while Duncan was unstoppable on the offensive end. The Admiral knew that for him to win that elusive ring he had to get help from Duncan in a huge way night in and night out.

For Gasol and Howard neither seem to back down. During the course of the season we have seen both players complaining of touches and playing time. It's the ME first mentality that's coming to fore. Add to the mix is the biggest ME, MYSELF and I of them all which is The Mamba so there goes the instability. Only recently did they realized that for them to get to their preferred destination they need to drop that kind of mentality and just help each other out.

Despite Rondo out of the season, I still like Boston's chances in the playoffs. Their backcourt line up is still good with Bradley, Barbosa and Terry. Jeff Green is also contributing well so as the season goes, the Celtics will be more fluid playing together w/o Rondo.

Yep, i love the leprechaun! Hehehe.  Kahit umabot pa ng 20 game winning streak yan, hindi ako aasa sa team ko hahaha.  I'll continue cheering but until they get another decent big in addition to KG, and a more consistent scorer that can slash to the basket (rudy gay would have been nice) they wont win a ring soon.  They can't out perimeter miami -- dwade, lbj and bosh all have great perimeter to inside games, mga bata pa kasi eh.  The 4 game streak is a result of great coaching, magaling si rivers, old legs na lang talaga ang Boston.

Duncan and robinson had very similar games on both ends of the court so even if it was duncan who gave way to the admiral and concentrated on defense, it would still have worked.  As for the pau and d12 tandem, d12 is head and shoulders better than pau on defense and not that far behind in post up play but definitely a better offensive rebounder.  Pau on the other hand is a much better passer and better shooter but is no where near a shot blocking threat.  So one of them really has to give way to the other and have someone else compliment their game aside from each other (earl clark and antawn jamison fits the bill perfectly), because being on the court at the same time has obviously proven disastrous.

Actually, i do to, pero fearless forecast ko dyan is a deep playoff run lang...ecf at most, and if they do reach the ecf, 1-4 in favor of their opponent.

Sakin naman ang key for Boston is get out of the 8th seed if Miami ends up number 1.  If status quo, first round lang Boston.  Hindi papayag si Stern out kagad ang Heat opening round pa lang.   :D

gaya gaya sa color theme ng ating alma mater.  ;D i'm not a boston fan though because i hate that old fart KG, but i do think boston is still a deep team in all positions except center, unless that Fabulous Melo would turn out to be a star....... a star comedian  8)

Boston must aim for the 6th seed instead of the 8th or 7th seed so they can avoid MIA and NY.
If they can achieve that, i'm sure they can go deep into the playoffs.
So far so good naman ang BOS and i agree Rivers is a very good coach.

I'd hate for NY to run into the celtics in the first round.Hope they finish 6th or higher, since miami looks to be a lock at 1 (and hoping ny keeps the 2nd seed)

Ibang iba siguro pakiramdam maging laker fan today.8th seed na lang pinapangarap, makapasok lang sa playoffs ;D
