Wishing a player will get injured or celebrating an injury? Pareho lang, di ba?  :P

It's nice to see teams battle it out with a full lineup intact. No asterisks nor what ifs.

Depends on how you look at it i guess, one is rubbing salt to the wound while the other was saying it in jest.

+1 here. Specially this coming all-star game.
Dami na sidelined. Griffin, cp3, dh, noah, rondo. Aww.

Noah is set to comeback early next week with Hinrich.  Si Griffin ba long term injury? Wag naman, sayang ang season ng clips.

Sadly we might not even see Bynum suit up anymore for the 76ers. His contract is expiring this year and word is that he is seeking a max contract at that. No team is going to roll the dice on him with that asking price. The 76ers literally gave away Igoudala for peanuts. Denver is the biggest winner in that series of trades and is now reaping the success of their brilliant trades while keeping their flexibility by shipping out Nene etc.

Medyo bad taste naman to bro, ok lang mang asar pero to celebrate a player getting injured...that's too low.

Lakers will go down dahil sa mga wish ng die hard fans nila...

I wouldn't call it celebrating but if an injury to an opponent happened and it favored my team then I'd be in a bind. Winning but kinda incomplete or winning regardless.

But it's not as if its a playoff series limited to two teams. Gasol got injured during the regular season, still too far off to look at head to heads specially since the top of the west is a bit bunched together. I wouldn't wish for anyone to get injured... But if someone already did I wouldn't mind it too much if someone celebrated on it as he is supporting another team, it's not as if he was the one who caused it anyway. Sometimes passion for sports drives some people over the top but that does not make them bad people so I wouldnt be quick to judge.

The lakers situation reminds me of when they lost to Detroit. Lots of aging but great players on one team. it's kind of sad to not see the full potential.... If it was even there. At least the previous one made it to the finals, this LA team might not even make the playoffs.

I'd like to see teams that really work on teamwork succeed in the playoffs so in the long run teams would focus more on this than just bunching players up.... Personally, I like golden state, New York, the clippers and of course OKC. As for Miami, I just felt that getting 3 all stars and saying oh now we are going to get more than 3 championships is bad for the sport.

I'm hoping for an NYK vs OKC showdown.

That is if Houston hasn't won 2 games as well. Next 2 games for them are Portland and Sacramento.....winnable games.

Aba... nagka-issue pala dito.

You all know that my comments were meant for one particular individual here, right?  >:D

I don't really believe in karma... so, it was probably just fate.

From now on, my irritated comments will be directed towards the "Ignore trash bin"... were I believe this particular individual belongs anyway.  ;D

In fairness to dpogs, I think he had no intention whatsoever of celebrating or jumping up and down because of an injury of a player per se.  You're not a masochist, dpogs are you?  Dpogs reacted to nbc's comment when he said jokingly that he would have wanted Miami to win but LBJ injured.  Which I think was said in jest and no malice at all on the part of nbc.  Then Gasol's foot injury happened instead of LBJ.  Dpogs teased nbc with the "too bad Gasol got injured, nyahaha"obviously not to mock Gasol but to make "kantyaw" to nbc.  All in the name of fun.  After all, it's just basketball right?

Dpogs, ayan ha dahil you didn't let us down kanina when Miami beat Houston.

Well, not if Andy Jao is the sportscaster.  He kept plugging the LPG brand when he was covering the Lakers Boston championship.

And talking about injuries, even the Black Mamba is not happy with other player's injuries, especially Rondo's :

But Bryant takes no pleasure in the torn ACL suffered by Rajon Rondo or the uncertainty surrounding the futures of two of his most ardent foes, Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett.

"I'm not happy about what's happening to them," Bryant said. "We're all running out of time. So I understand."

Then he said he loves everything about Rajan Rondo, even said Rondo is one of his favorite players!  Coming from Mamba, that's indeed a compliment.

The Celtics are 4-0 with a resurgence of ball movement since Rondo went down, but Bryant scoffed at the significance off the minuscule sample size.

"You don't want Rondo? Send him my way," Kobe declared. "I love everything about him. Everything. I love his attitude, I love his chippiness, his edge, his intellect, his know-it-allness. All of it. That's what makes championship players.

"What guard have you seen at his size that will get you 18 assists, 17 boards and 20 points all in one game? That's unheard of. I love that kid. I always make a point of talking to him during All-Star [Weekend]. He's one of my favorites."

More often than not kasi real athletes that are also fans of the sport dont joke about injuries, more so kung totoong injured na, its kind of taboo for them kasi it can happen to an athlete anytime and its a real athletes biggest fear.

Not at all surprised with this >:(

Reporter: Have you talked to Kobe about it, just your situation?

    Dwight Howard: "What situation?"

Reporter: In terms of your injury and all that?

DH: "Have I talked to Kobe?"

Reporter: Yes, just as far as outlining, like, telling him your perspective?

    DH: "Of what?"

Reporter: Of you wanting to take the long view?

DH: "Why do I have to explain that to Kobe?"

    Reporter: Well, because he's a teammate …

    DH: "He's a doctor?"

Reporter: No, but he's a teammate.

DH: "OK. So I should explain that to all my teammates then, right?"

Reporter: I'm not insinuating that. I'm just asking, have you talked to him?

    DH: "I'm asking you …"

Reporter: I don't know if you've talked to him.

DH: "I'm asking you, I'm supposed to tell all my teammates?"

Reporter: No, I'm just asking if you talked to him.

    DH: "Just Kobe. Just Kobe."

Reporter: Considering the comments he made yesterday …

DH: "I don't know what he said."

Reporter No. 2: He says we don't have time for Dwight's shoulder to heal. We need urgency. We need him back on the floor. This is the Lakers. It's either a championship or a complete failure.

    DH: "OK."

Reporter No. 2: What do you say to that?

    DH: "That's his opinion."
