Lakers down 19pts now to the lowly Bobcats in the 3rd.  Confidence booster for Charlotte if they hold on to win the game.

hahaha this is laughable. i'll laugh with dpogs on this one. this has to be one of the most pathetic teams formed in the NBA. Don't care if they've been bitten by the injury bug. this team is just crap.

This game seals the deal. No playoffs for this no-heart team.

it all boils down to team chemistry. if they gel, heck yeah. Even the Spurs with not-so-big stars on their team can win championships so why can't a suped up team do it? Pathetic lang talaga yung chemistry ng Lakers. they have all the talent to win a championship but they just don't get along well.

Even my old lady lawyer friend (who doesn't even know much about basketball) predicted it. I was telling her how strong the Lakers are on paper. She agreed but countered that they still need to gel. Sheesh. for a fan of the Lakers, this has got to be really frustrating. Basketball should come easy for these guys but it just boggles the mind why they can't seem to do it right.

epic fail of a season.

Jordan will be rolling in his grave if the Bobcats lose this one. Oh wait...buhay pa pala si Jordan. But I'm sure he'd say something like "kill me now" if the Bobcats lose. haha

yeah i should've had more faith...in the Bobcat's propensity for choking. haha Jordan must be so proud of his team. Bobcats leading by 20  in the 3rd Q and his team lost just by 7 points. /sarcasm

Hehe...  for me, it was very evident that Kobe just had the will to win. Never give up mode.

Nice recovery by the Lakers against the lowly Bobcats, in a back-to-back road game at that. Encouraging to see they still have some fight in them and not folding to the pressure.

Miami is currently demolishing the Clippers. Yes, good luck indeed to the Lakers on Monday. :)
We deserve better.

Disaster averted.  :D. Oh that would have been embarassing.

Bakit kahapon wala yun will to win ni Kobe?  Dapat sa Miami dalhin niya ulit yun will to win at hindi sa Bobcats lang.  :D

Ahm... seems to me that it was Kobe who carried the load for the Lakers yesterday. He was 9 - 15 for 27 points... his 0 assists??? Well, the rest of the team was 27 - 72.  Seems to me that's the reason he had 0 assists... because none of those he passed the ball to got it in the ring.

Dwight Howard was the one who was totally ineffective. "Oh my aching back... Oh my aching shoulder..." :p

Kobe is the alpha dog right? He should have sparked a fire under his team. His body language clearly said..... I give up.   ;D. If he really has that much fire in him and the desire to win, why not bring it every game.  Even if they lost and lost big, try to make it competitive at least.  ;D. It showed in his body language that he already called it a night in the 3rd.  ;D

All the greats bring it every night. You can't really pick and choose when and when not to bring it. That's why Magic blasted the Lakers after the loss.  Magic certainly brought it every night even in losses.

They were down 26 heading to the 4th on the front-end of a back-to-back. It was their 6th game in 10 days. Kobe is 34 with the legs of a 40yr old. Given the season they're having, the right thing to do is to pick your battles.

Haha.  Yeah I guess.  My daughter said it has the one with a (check mark).  Si Lebrown Dyems lang ito. My tast of fame ends there.  Back to reality.

Lakers won because they moved the ball and played defense.  And it's the Bobcats, for crying out loud.  Yun lang.

I'm talking about the start of the 3rd when the lead was still manageable.  They had a day off before the Boston game so the team had enough rest.  It was a nationally televised game.  It's Boston vs LA.  Like Magic said, the Celtics are the mortal enemies...their rivals.  If you are not pumped up for this game, something must be wrong.

If you need rest, sit against the Bobcats on a second game of a back to back....not on the first game against your rival the Celtics on a first game after a day of rest in a nationally televised game.  If you're gonna pick your battles....you pick to battle the Celtics.   :D

And at this point and time, the Lakers no longer have any luxury of 'picking their battles.' There is no luxury to rest given their current standing. I am not blaming Kobe, I think he always shows up. I am blaming that overpaid and overrated Dwight Howard. It is not Kobe's fault they are losing. It is solely on DH shoulders!
