Based on observation in this game, D12's back still isnt 100%, there were some alley-oop passes that he was going to stuff with authority but decided to just lay in.

Yes sir.

No comebacks this time. Just a solid, all-around team game vs. a playoff team, with Kobe and Howard playing well off each other to hold back the Bulls. Keeping my fingers crossed that they keep it up.

Next game will be Howard's first game back in Orlando. Could be as brutal as James' first game in Cleveland after his infamous Decision.

And hopefully, Lakers against Orlando will be a win.

With the way they are playing, 6th is not an impossibility. And Den may gain some ground on the LAC too, so if things go right, it may become a denver-laker playoff with history on the lakers side. They have always performed well in the playoffs against denver.

Yah, they should aim for 6th spot to avoid SPURS and OKC in the first round.

Although I go for KNICKS, Id like to see MIAMI and LAKERS in the finals this year. This will either Kobe officially handing over the stardom to Lebron, or Kobe moving closer his status to Jordan.

Btw, Nash career low in assist this season being a Laker. I've noticed he doesnt give more than 5 assists regularly for so many games whereas with Pheonix, he usually has 10 or more assists per game.

ball-dominant kasi si Kobe. kaya kay kobe napupunta assists. ok na din. gawing shooter/scorer si nash. one of the best naman siya when it comes to shooting. swak sa net madalas.

This is why i admire nash a lot, he is a two time mvp that adjusted his game. Individual accolades mean little to him, he wants the RING.

It's because Stevie hasn't been asked before to shoot and score unlike now in LA. Stevie is one of the best shooters in the NBA and Lakers seem to win when Nash helps in scoring. Many times Kobe has fed off Steve for three point shots and all important jumpers.

As per bleacher report ...

"Show me a person who says it's not surreal watching Nash play the part of a scorer, and I'll show you one big liar.

We've always known Nash could score, but he's never been asked to. Not like this.

Los Angeles' point man dropped 16 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the field. He did pitch in four assists, but we're used to watching his assist totals rival that of his points.

Even Dallas and Portland still have chances to get into the playoffs now with GS and UTAH playing badly.

I agree with Nash playing like a Steve Kerr or Jim Paxon by knocking down wide open jumpers from a penetrating Bryant.
