As an Ex-Kobe Hater (he still earned me(LOL) as a fan in losing to the Celtics in 2008 because of his heart)

I say Congrats to the Lakers. ;D

Great win by the Lakers but you got to admire the Raptors' tenacity in that game. Kobe was clutch, but my my, Rudy Gay wasn't.

Kaya pala silent si Coach Spo about his lovelife nung andito sa sa Pinas, ito pala, active pala:

Spo and Girlfriend goes Public

Quote
The Miami Herald reports that the 42-year-old coach is dating 24-year-old Nikki Sapp, a Miami native and a former Heat dancer.

Apparently Spoelstra has been dating Sapp for nearly two years, but the couple only recently made their relationship public. Sapp is now a director at the Guy Hepner art gallery in West Hollywood, Calif., and so she splits her time between Miami and Los Angeles.

Spoelstra and Sapp have attended a few charity events together -- the Miami Heat Family Foundation night of "Motown Revue" and a fundraiser for Lauren's Kids, a group that works on preventing the sexual abuse of children.

Go go go Coach. :)

With Utah's win against Detroit, Lakers bump-off again for the 8th slot.

I'm actually looking at #7 and #6 na.  Ayoko muna makalaban ng Lakers either Thunder or Spurs.  Kawawa naman OKC or SAS masisibak either of them sa 1st round pa lang.  Wag naman.  Clippers (#3) pwede na talunin sa Round 1.  So I think #6 for LAL would be good for the NBA.

most probably nga kasi mabigat mga next games ni Utah. but I doubt Lakers getting the 7th or even the 6th.  ;D

lal will likely end up third. they have a shot of ending second if they play well enough. third or second among teams playing out of california.

haha, really.. But yeah the only (possible) division champ they have a chance is their rival.. Amazing cp3 vs. kobe.. Not a fan but cp3 plays good against lal even during his hornet days..

I'm still not buying rockets to be a playoff team,  feeling ko mag cocollapse yan during the stretch, i prefer jazz' line up than them and i don't trust harden, and theyre giving up too many points.. But if they get in, good for my spurs.. :)
The Pats way...

what if biglang nag himala at naka 20W streak ang Lakers :)

Go Lakers!!!!!

Hahaha...the Lakers have yet to put a choke hold on the 8th seed....7th seed, 6th or yet finals against the Heat na pinag uusapan.  One game at a time muna.   :D

Barring any injury, Miami should make the Finals.  It would take a lot of coaching skill to stop the athleticism of Dwade and LBJ.  Indiana had their number in the playoffs last year and for 2 games this season but in last years playoffs Bosh was down and in the first two games LBJ was not on his mad streak yet.  A healthy NYK would also be a legit threat because of their shooting and with Melo and JR smith also being athletic, its a good match.

As for the west, if the Lakers can put together a winning streak of 7-8 games, then I can say they found a bit of chemistry and would also be a legit threat in the playoffs regardless of who they face.  Pau will be coming off the bench for sure anyway so he wont disrupt the starting 5 offense,  what would be tricky though is Jamisons role when Pau gets back, not unless Pau shifts to a 5-spot as a sub to Dwight instead of his usual 4.

In the East, Miami stands alone. There are no other contenders from the East. Indiana is young and bullheaded but inexperienced. New York, as good as they have been this season compared to previous seasons, is fool's gold. Don't let their record fool you. NYK is just a mediocre team that can randomly win against top tier teams but they will never really pose a threat to any contender. The Bulls would have been the only real threat to the Heat but the absence of their superstar makes them irrelevant this season.

As for the Lakers, Pau should definitely be the center for the bench when he comes back. He will give Dwight some rest. With Jamison's play as of late, D'antoni would be dumb to relegate him back into oblivion once Pau comes back. The bench would be solid with Pau,Jamison, M33ks,Blake and whoever for the 5th man.

I've played in a few leagues and a 9 man rotation is already healthy, not unless one is playing injured and has limited minutes.  Pau, Meeks(hoefully his 3's don't run out), Blake and AJ is a very strong bench, albeit a slow one.  I'm hoping Pau can step up the D like how D12 has been playing lately, D12 cant shoot FT's and is not healthy enough to do 20+ pts daily but his defense is getting better and the timing is starting to click and if he continues to play this way then he is an excellent compliment to Kobe's offense indeed.
