Btw, what was the longest winning streak of in the NBA? 25-26? by Houston?

'72 lakers with 33 games.  Houston had the best undefeated start at 15 or 16 games.

so back to 8th spot ang LA?

Yes pero still half a game ahead lang sila sa Utah.  Meaning, pag nanalo ulit ang Utah, back to 9th spot sila. So Utah must lose one more game so Lakers can really have a stronghold on 8th spot.  Lakers just have to keep winning.  And Utah just has to lose more games.

What a statement game by Howard in Orlando = 39 pts and 16 rebounds.  3 blocks and 0 turnovers.  That's the game he needs every night for Lakers to win.

eh kung bigyan ka ba naman ng 39 free shots dba bakit di ka aabot ng 39 points. hahaha

anyway, sobrang sore losers ng Orlando fans. I get that they didn't appreciate the Dwight drama saga but wearing shirts that says "fck dwight" is just downright pathetic. I guess they're really butthurt about how it all turned out for them.

When shaq left they felt bad, now with howards departure they must have felt worse since its the second time a no. 1 pick left.

33 by Lakers. Longest winning streak in USA sports

Oh that will be a challenge for MIA to win 14 more in a row just to match the 33 games winning streak by the Lakers.
Well, 19 more games for MIA this regular season.

And both former number 1 picks went to the Lakers. May running joke nga na yung Orlando yung farm team ng Lakers for centers. Abangan ang next number 1 pick ng Orlando na center. Mapupunta ulit yan sa Lakers in the future. haha

3 times would be one too many na. baka magka-suicide watch sa Orlando if that happens again.

So had DG12 converted ALL free throws, he would have made 78 points and LAL would have led by 39 points? Tama ba?

25 of 39 FTs ain't bad.  He also made 16 of 20 in the 2nd half pala.  Nice touch DH12.  Pwede na yun.  Para lang syang si Norman Black sa Free throw.

Maybe they want to embarrass Dwight knowing he can't make free throws.

OKC is next for Utah.  The Thunder are coming off a loss against the Spurs.  Then they want to avenge their earlier loss to the Jazz.  This might be the separation the Lakers are praying for.

^  OKC actually aren't afraid of the Lakers.  Remember the last game?  How they confidently dismantled the Lakers en route to only having 2 TOs for the game.

Sa tingin ko makakapasok ang Lakers sa playoffs, but I don't think they stand a chance against any of the top 5 teams in the West. Not even the Nuggets, who is 28-3 at home, and has 2 starting lineups.

And I don't think any of the top teams are afraid of them. They're only winning 29.1%(6-17) of their matchups amongst the top 9 teams in the West. They're mostly feasting on weaker teams right now.

kung maiiwasan lang naman. but given the choice i think they would choose gsw or rockets rather than lakers. it goes both ways din. sa west okc pa rin talaga ang tingin kong team to beat. as a laker fan im not really worried about denver pagdating sa playoffs.

If the Lakers realize their full potential, then even the top teams should fear them. However, that's a big IF. If they play below what they are actually capable of, then they are sure to be mere playoffs fodder .
