The Wolves might just be the key to the Lakers entering the Playoffs.

Utah plays Minnesota twice - at home on April 12 and at MIN on April 15.

So Lakers fans, sabay sabay tayo :  GO WOLVES!!!

Problem is, should the Lakers make it to the 8th seed in the west, they will probably face OKC in the first round.
SA seems to be managing their situation very well.
They'd rather end up 2nd seed and face HOU rather than retaining their #1 seed as of date and face the Lakers.

The 2nd seed in the west will probably play Memphis or Denver for the 3rd seed.
I'd say SA wants Memphis instead of Denver should they create their own destiny for the 2nd seed in the west.

sa tingin ko rin dali ang lakers sa okc kung makapasok man sila sa playoffs. pero at least wala si harden so may pagasa pa naman.

Harden isnt the problem. It's Durant and Westbrook. Absolutely no wingman from the Lakers can stop Durant and the guards of LA cant stop Westbrook.
On the contrary, both Ibaka and Perkins can match up well with Pau and DH12.
Tabo can slightly contain Kobe who now is playin facilitator for the Lakers.

Westbrook lang ang problem nyan. Durant? There's a Durant-stopper!!! His name is Russell Westbrook.hahahaha

not really worried about durant or westbrook, they would always get their points. i do believe lakers starting five should be able to provide some resistance.

I believe OKC, just like SAS, would rather be 2nd seed to avoid LA.  Parehong iiwas yan sa Lakers.  Ayaw madisgrasya ng first round.  Lakers on the other hand would be happy just to make it even to the first round.  As I said, given the injuries and the still questionable chemistry, they're better off resting and healing for next year.  Laker pride na lang at stake. Kakahiya pag di pumasok ng Playoffs.

With the Utah loss vs Denver, the Lakers just has to maintain status quo from hereon to make it.  Meaning they win when Utah wins or lose when Utah loses.  A win tomorrow vs Mem and another loss by Utah will give LAL more control over their destiny.

If the Lakers do make it then OKC (or SAS) should worry about the Lakers, not the other way around.

So we now have a situation where there's a mad scramble for 2nd seed between SAS and OKC.  Sino kaya mananalo? ;D

sana eto na lang ang ipalit ke  GASOL   ;D ;D ;D http://nba.si.com/2013/04/03/brittney-griner-nba-dallas-mavericks-baylor/?sct=uk_bf1_a3

Kahit sino, mawala lang si Gasol,
hardly a factor in both offense and defense,...
Ng mapanuod namin yan ng live, ang lamyang gumalaw,
walang intensity man lang,...
Hamak gandang lumaro si Jordan Hill,...

Jordan Hill baldado eh.  Gasol kahit papaano pag pumasok ng playoffs may silbi.  Still a threat coz he's big and has championship experience.

May Laker Pride eh.. Kahiyaan talaga pag di pumasok.  Besides Kobe has a mission to overtake Jordan for 3rd all time scoring champ by 2014 so ayaw magpahinga kahit hilahod na..

Western Conference
Seed   Team   GB
1   x-Oklahoma City   -
2   x-San Antonio   -
3   x-Denver   4
4   x-L.A. Clippers   6
5   x-Memphis   5
6   Golden State   12
7   Houston   13
8   L.A. Lakers   16
Still alive
9   Utah   16.5
10   Dallas   19
11   Portland   23

Eliminated
12   o-Minnesota   27.5
13   o-Sacramento   29
14   o-New Orleans   30
15   o-Phoenix   33

In their 37 years, the Lakers has only been eliminated twice in the regular season.  So this will be their 3rd if ever >:(

OT: NCAA Final Four today. Looking forward to seeing Michigan PG and future NBA lottery pick Trey Burke in action against Syracuse. Ala CP3 daw maglaro. And of course, Tim Hardaway, Jr.

Syracuse I think is the better team because of their D, but Burke is an amazing Guard, parang CP3 nga.. nice to see wolverines again  in final 4..  :) watch out for Burke vs. Carter-Williams, good match up..

I didn't expect na gagaling ang HOU, kala ko they will collapse during this time.. mas takot pa ko for them than LAL, kasi they have nothing to lose, goal lang nila is to reach the playoffs this season, la ng pressure..

they're good but I still don't trust Harden.. :)

Go Spurs..
