Seriously, bad officiating and "game fixing" have been around for some time. And Lakers had their share of bad calls too. Check this out :

Interesting enough is #9 which is MJ's "last shot". I was surprised to see that it's here. Was that a non call? IMO, that was a right non call. A let go situation. But it's here in the list. Oh well...

* MIA v. MIL (should be a sweep; interesting to see what the backcourt of Jennings and Ellis + Ilyasova + the Show can do)
* NYK v. BOS (Melo v. KG "rematch"

)
* BKN v. CHI (CHI is favored here, and can end up meeting MIA in the second round for what promises to be a very physical series)
* IND v. ATL (Nice match-up

I'm confused. You are trying to prove that the league isn't rigged to benefit the Lakers right? But the link you posted half of which involved the Lakers. And 4 out of 5 times it indeed benefited LA. It is actually the other way around. If anything it proves 80% of the time, the Lakers benefit. And in one of the examples, a 21 FT advantage was said to be a crime. What more a 34 FT disparity.

I don't believe on those luto and game fixing especially Nba.. its the most popular sport next to nfl and shown live and watched by millions, hindi susugal ang commish and team owners na masira sila.. lal deserves to be in playoffs, un nga lang hangang 1st round lang..

Had this been OKC, I would've passed.

But matchups still favor the Spurs. As I said, the PG spot is the weakest link of the Lakers. Lakers match up poorly with teams with good PGs. NBA teams know this. Pop knows this and will capitalize. Expect a different Parker to show up than the last Parker who only scored 4 points. Centers even out although Duncan has edge over Dwight but I guess DH12 can more or less neutralize Duncan. Manu WILL play. Kobe won't. So I guess the loss of Kobe may be too much to overcome.

If El PG clicks with DH12 then that tandem will be hard to stop. Plus the other guys-- MWP, Jamison, Meeks, Clarke and yes, Nash if they step up and hit shots and if the Lakers can contain Duncan and SAS miss open shots, who knows LAL might pull an upset.

And then there's the refs .....

Hmmmm ... pwede nga siguro.
