No dispute. He's one of the big reasons why the Knicks are having a great season.
His explosiveness coming off the bench provided the Knicks fire power.

Okay, no more tweeting for Kobe.  Good decision but the guy's totally bored that's why.

Since the Mamba is immobilized for months, he can start watching and collecting blurays.  Can someone please tell him to be a pdvd member???  Mas ok ito sa twitter.

hilig pa naman nya magmovies. one time nagtatanong siya ano daw ok na movie kasi bored daw siya at nagising ng maaga.

But i doubt he buys blu rays. He watches in hotels and portable devices so malamang streaming and downloads lang si Kobe vie iTunes or netflix.

Report: Marc Gasol to be named Defensive Player of the Year

According to Chris Vernon, Gasol will be named the 2012-13 Defensive Player of the Year.

Gasol, in terms of traditional stats, doesn't necessarily impress. He averaged just 1.7 blocks, 1.3 a game behind league leader Serge Ibaka. Gasol pulled in 7.8 rebounds a game, almost five a game fewer than Dwight Howard, the league leader.

But Gasol's impact can be found simply in this: With him on the floor, the Grizzlies enjoyed an incredible 95.4 defensive rating. With Gasol on the floor, the Grizzlies allowed 99.3 points per 100 possessions. With him off, 105.9. His impact defensively for Memphis is pretty obvious.

The last movies he watched were Pitch Perfect & Rise of the Guardians.  JVG was kidding him what's up with those choices.  He should be watching Gladiator.  Or Any Given Sunday.

Hayaan mo subukan kong mag instagram sa kanya ng mga BDs ko baka sakali ma enganyo ko hahahah.

malaki rin talaga impact nung nawala si Gay sa Grizz. yes they are a good defensive team but sa offense, most of them cant create their own shots. with cp3 healthy i dont think the series would be long

Agree to an extent.  No player on the Grizzlies roster can create their own shots.  Gay can create the space to hoist one up.  Kaso this year, parang wala pang buzzer beater si Gay.  He certainly had his fair share of opportunities.  Even with Toronto, he was able to extracate to get off a last second shot.  But walang pumapasok.  The last one if I recall versus the Lakers.

Too bad OKC and the Clippers are seeded this way - I would have wanted to see these teams square off in the WC Finals, instead of the semis.

yep. although madalas hindi pumasok yung mga last shot ni Gay at least he gives his team a chance. dati tingin ko dark horse ang Grizzlies sa West before they traded Gay

I remember reading this article around the time when Gay shot 0-5 in crunch time in the Raptors overtime loss against the Lakers:

Quote from: Bill Simmons
Most fans love the idea of Rudy: 6-foot-8, defends either forward spot, good athlete, unafraid at crunch time, seems like he's good. Nobody wants to accept that he's a horrific shooter — repeat: horrific — who excels at posting up smaller defenders, and that's about it. Math doesn't lie: According to Hoopdata.com, Gay is shooting 25 percent on shots from 16 to 23 feet (the worst percentage of anyone who attempted three-plus shots per game from that range) and 23.3 percent from 3 (the worst percentage of anyone who attempted three-plus 3s per game). In other words, Gay attempts nearly 10 shots per game from more than 15 feet and makes two of them. I stand by "horrific."

http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/9030601/the-worst-contracts-nba

I really don't think that retaining Gay would have improved the Grizzlies' chances this year. What they need is more reliable outside shooters (like Battier/Mayo from the 2010-11 team) to complement their big men.

Grizzlies starters - 2/10 from beyond the arc in the series. One of the 3's came from Tony Allen who has only made 3/24 3ptrs in 2012-2013.

he is on a mission bro, i won't be surprised if they beat okc in 2nd round, although its still early.. Baka plano rin ng Sas to avoid clips on the 2nd rd, because they swept them last year.. Mas mahirap talunin un :)

I totally agree, gasol (not pau) is one of the most underrated due to his stats on d.. Not the best but he's definitely top 5.. Mem coach has done a pretty good job but if they do not advance, its time for a change..
