13 more games and the Heat will sweep the Post Season, 16-0.

No team has gone undefeated in the NBA playoffs. The LA Lakers came closest, going 15-1 in the 2001 playoffs.

Another history in the making for this Miami Heat ::)

I expected Miami to sweep the Bucks so no surprises in that series.

sweep Lakers... sweep Lakers... sweep Lakers...

nagpakapagod makapasok sa playoffs, nagka injury na halos lahat ng players makapasok lang sa playoff.... tapos matatalo lang... sweep pa... LOL.... EPIC FAILURE talaga Lakers....

If the Lakers lose, and if sweep man.....

I think the coach might get fired.... Nash could retire, and Howard might sign with another team.....

Hmmmm.......

The Lakers GM already said MDA is coming back  Besides it's very impractical paying 3 coaches next season....Brown, MDA and the new hire.  That's roughly $10 million every year for 3 coaches.

nagtitipid na ang lakers?  dapat ngayon palang nakapag scout na sila ng replacement ni MDA.

guaranteed contracts kasi yung binigay nila kay mike brown at MDA. so continuous payment even if fired. not practical financial wise.

Pag dating sa coach ganun na nga.  When Phil stepped down, Lakers said they were looking for a coach but are only willing to pay in the 4M range.

Since Cleveland just hired Mike Brown, the Lakers might be relieved from paying him a portion of his salary:

Uh uh. Breaking news - Russell Westbrook to have surgery on torn meniscus. No timetable on return. Caused by collision with Patrick Beverley.

http://www.sbnation.com/nba/2013/4/26/4270450/russell-westbrook-injury-knee-okc-thunder-nba-playoffs-2013

I feel bad for OKC. Not sure if RW will be able to return. Even with KD and RW, had a feeling they wouldn't be able to beat the Heat. But with this....

this is a HUGE hit to OKC's championship run...I think that just took out 1 out of a possible 2, the other being SAS IMO, challengers for Miami's crown.

A source tells Yahoo Sports that "perhaps" only 2 percent of Russell Westbrook's meniscus is torn.
Surgery is scheduled for sometime in the next 48 hours. At that point, doctors will decide if they'll just "clean up" Westbrook's meniscus or do a full repair. Obviously, the full repair would be better for his long-term health but it would also keep him for three months. A mere clean up could have Westbrook back in weeks.

Wow - that injury to Westbrook is huge. Even if it's possible that he's just going to be out for weeks, it certainly casts doubt on OKC's chances of advancing all the way to the Finals.

Ultimate game-changer talaga ang injuries. Sana wala na at this stage of the season.

Westbrook says Beverley made a dirty play which caused the injury. IMO it was an unnecessary play, but didn't look dirty. But if I were Beverley, I'll watch out for Perkins going forward. :)

On the other hand, this could be the turning point for OKC. KD will be scoring in the 50s, Martin will finally show his true worth & Fisher will shock everyone with his game winners. :-)

If by any chance (big chance) they meet the Spurs again, and with Wesbrook on the sideline, Popovich might allow KD to score 50+ points.... But the rest of the team will probably score 18 points.... hehehe

Yeah, a big IF.  Same IF - the Spurs would stay healthy and get pass thru the second round.... hehehe

Bucks and Celtics were never considered threats though. Lakers were considered NBA Finalist at the very least and NBA Champions by some experts.   ;D
