So is Durant a choker or not?  Have not watched the game but I saw the play by play and Durant shot bricks in Overtime. All his shots went kaput.  :-[ Buti pa si Fisher lumalaban.  So mukhang choker talaga si KD.  No Westbrook, no can do for OKC ;D

I'll take Westbrook anytime.  May pagasa ang OKC manalo ng ganitong games kung si Westbrook yan.

Go home, OKC. Lay your weary head to rest. Fight again next season when you have both Westbrick and Durant. haha

I disagree.  Baka nga 3-0 na yan if you put Westbrook in and take Durant out.  Tony Allen can take on Westbrook.  Gasol, Randolph and the bigs can take care of the Westbrook penetrations.  Choose your poison.... Westbrook jumpshots or Westbrook ISOs.  Either way, you are left with Westbrook jacking up a ton of shots.

Baka naman nabantayan lang talaga, no other scoring options to pass to? Is KD even a good passer?

*this is where LeBron is better than him.

May history naman ang Miami of losing game 1.  You can call it overconfidence.  Natawa nga ako nun natalo Miami.  Akala mo game over na.   ;D

^ Di pwede matalo sila against a Healthy team though. e.g. Pacers sa Game 1 :)

Lalo na kung matalo ng Pacers ang NYK sa series.

Same line up but a team that has a another year of experience under its belt.  They might be even tougher this year.

Durant forced the OT and magmiss lang choker na. Feeling ko napapagod lang.

Have you watched games 2 & 3 too? Both games Durant, the 2nd leading scorer of the regular season, can't score in the dying minutes of the game and committed costly errors.  Game 3, Durant muffed two all important free throws considering he is a 91% FT shooter.  Game 4 earlier, he missed ALL 5 of his shots in the extra period, including a layup in the final seconds. Durant was 2 of 13 in the fourth quarter and overtime and had only 5 points. Tired? I think it's more of wilting under pressure.  The guy choked. 3 games in a row.  Let's see game 5.  I hope he redeems himself.

See, if this was Lebron or Melo or Kobe missing shots like that, 3 games in succession, we would have already a longer thread bashing and dissecting them for being chokers.  But it's good ol' teddy bear KD.  That's why we're a little kinder to him.

I guess OKC just didn't adjusted well when RW was injured. Looks like KD is not use to playing hero ball like KB. But KD is still the top dog as far as OKC is concerned.

Well, that we have yet to see.   When Westbrook is in and Durant is out.  As we are seeing now, OKC can't win with Durant alone.  What I'm saying is they MAY win with Westbrook alone because the guy just simply won't back off. The problem with KD is when you swarm him with the best defenders, he has the tendency to back off, wait for a play to develop until a better option shows up.  Unlike Westbrook who wants to ball, always!!  Like the Mamba attitude.  Westbrick will make those FTs that Durant missed.  Westbrick will make those layups that Durant missed.  Westbrick may win games for OKC.

As one article said,

"The best of what Durant is—his scoring efficiency, his prowess in the clutch—is owed, in part, to Russell Westbrook.  And the worst of what Durant is—a superstar talent without superstar moxie—is concealed by Russell Westbrook.

And for a Thunder team not content to wait its turn, it’s Westbrook, not Durant, who fuels their precociousness."

Westbrook is the Alpha Male of OKC, not Durant.  I am still waiting for KD to prove me wrong.

Durant i think is a much better shooter than Westbrook, Westbrook alone means OKC gone fishing on 1st round of the playoffs. He'll get tired. kobe is much smarter than him, much bigger, much shooter, Westbrook's only skill is fast phase basketball, he always wants the ball to drive to the basket.  ;D ;D

Like you said, Westbrook is like the Mamba.  And how many times has Kobe shot his team out of the game?  Countless times.  Even with Durant in the line up, Westbrook has the tendency to jack up ridiculous shots and make only a fourth of them.  With the big men of Memphis, he would do the same.  He is a tremendous one on one player.  But with KD out of the line up, he will be seeing a constant double or even triple team.  And as history has shown, he puts up a ton of bad shots.

As one article said,

You always tend to exaggerate.  OKC may be down 1-3 but the series isn't over yet.  Why label a guy a choker when the series has yet to end.  And how can a lone series define that a player is a choker?  OKCs game plan was thrown out the window because of the unexpected injury to a vital cog to the team.  A lone series does not equate to a pattern.  That is just silly.

Compared sa NYK though, Defense and Offense ang HEAT not just a 3pt threat.
Also a year of experience din gained by the heat, LeBron/Bosh is tougher also this year ;D

Wow. Way to underestimate a solid team. Just because the Grizzlies isn't one of 'em fancy teams doesn't mean they're not a legit threat.

Perkins - only 3 field goals made in the series at 15.8%.

OKC's so offensively challenged these days that they should just start Collison over him. It's not like Perkins is defending Gasol very well either.
