this was expected since the Clippers didn't make it to the 2nd round. same boat lang ng city rivals nila. maybe coach sloan may consider the clippers since he turned down the bucks.

I don't think coaching is the problem with this team. They should get rid of Griffin and Jordan.

Nice for the Spurs fans. Apparently, flop lang yung flagrant on Allen. Shoudl've been over in regulation pa lang.

Thanks.  I'll just watch the highlights.  Been watching bluray movies lately.  That's the beauty of less exciting NBA games lately. Hahaha.

ayan, 2-0. legit na @pao9307.

:D

as i mentioned sa post that I deleted, nightmare scenario ni Stern: Spurs vs Pacers. Zero ratings. Kaya sigurado yan, luto na at ready nang ihanda ang Spurs vs Heat. :D
di naman PBA yan.  ;D

I'm still not closing the book on Memphis. The Spurs were 2-0 last year vs OKC and Memphis was 0-2 this year against LAC. But this is the series where they will surely miss Rudy Gay

^ yep, ibang klase makipagbakbakan Spurs ngayon e. May legit 3 point threats talaga. Madaming shooters whereas walang sagot sa offense yung Grizzlies. Z-Bo has been rendered useless. Sabagay, on-and-off naman siya the whole regular season. Si Mike Conley naman feeling ko streaky shooter e.

(AP) - A capsule look at the NBA's conference finals:

EASTERN CONFERENCE

No. 1 MIAMI HEAT (66-16, 8-1) vs. No. 3 INDIANA PACERS (49-32, 8-4)

Season series: Indiana, 2-1. The home team won all three games, and every game was decided by double figures. The Pacers shot only 36 percent and still beat the Heat 87-77 on Jan. 8, then topped them again 102-89 on Feb. 1 — the game that immediately preceded the start of Miami's 27-game winning streak. The Heat ran out to a 23-point lead before coasting to a 105-91 win in Miami on March 10.

Story line: Rematch, and it's one that Indiana wanted. The Pacers were up 2-1 when the teams met in a second-round series last season, led by 10 — at home — with 8:29 left in the third quarter, and got outscored by 62 points over the remainder of the series as the Heat advanced in six games. The matchup a year ago was physical, with 11 technicals or flagrant fouls in the last five games. And pleasantries will be few and far between this time.

Key Matchup I: LeBron James vs. Paul George. The league's best against Indiana's best, and this one might be fun to watch. James is now a four-time MVP and his teams have won 26 of their last 34 games against the Pacers — maybe none of them better than the 40-point, 18-rebound, nine-assist effort in Game 4 that swung last season's Miami-Indiana series around. George is now the clear leader of Indiana's offense, and the Pacers will need him to set the scoring tone again, though he has not shot the ball well at all in his relatively brief postseason history.

Key Matchup II: Dwyane Wade vs. Lance Stephenson. Wade was Miami's top scorer in the three games against Indiana this season, but his right knee will be an issue throughout the series since those bone bruises that have lingered for two months almost certainly aren't going anywhere soon. Stephenson and Miami didn't exactly get along in last year's series, and he figures to come into this matchup with plenty of confidence.

X-Factor: Chris Bosh. He got hurt midway through Game 1 of last year's series, and the Heat got five points in the five games that followed from starting centers Ronny Turiaf and Dexter Pittman, neither of whom are still with Miami. A healthy Bosh could change plenty for Miami in this series, which starts Wednesday night.

Prediction: Heat in 6.
We deserve better.

The Cavs just won the chance to draft the kid with the torn ACL;D

Hanggang 3Q lang ang napanuod ko ng MEM-SA. Nagka-OT pa pala.

Here's a good video showing how well the Spurs defended Zbo compared to OKC:

Supposed to be Spurs vs Heat last year sa Finals, kaso hindi pumayag OKC. Baka ngayon matuloy na.

Medyo off mga predictions ko ngayon compared last season, so I will go against what I think is going to happen. Feeling ko mahihirapan Heat sa Pacers ngayon katulad last year. So prediction ko is dikit ang magiging laban, so to go against my gut feel, tatambakan ng Heat ang Pacers. Miami will have an easy win in Game 1 of their series. Ang gulo  ;D

The last 3 teams that beat OKC in the Playoffs went on to win the championship

2010: LA Lakers eliminated Oklahoma, won the title.
2011: Dallas eliminated Oklahoma, won the title.
2012: Miami eliminated Oklahoma, won the title.

So this will become not true anymore?

LMAO @ Miami defeated Oklahoma. paran pinilit na lang para magkaroon ng pattern. :D

mas ok sana if lahat ng West teams na tumalo sa OKC, naging champ. Pero hindi eh.

Di naman malayo malaman results in 6 or 7 games, pero I really think na it will end in 5 lang with MIA winning. ;D

i was able to watch the 2nd game and parang walang adjustments na ginawa ang grizzlies, minalas lang talaga ang spurs sa huli kaya umabot ng overtime. parang diesel kasi yung grizzlies kailangan magpainit muna.

The chances of Indiana are slim. But if their Bigs can be consistent it will give them a chance. Miami will not be able to play small ball if Hibbert and West are scoring. And they should limit their turnovers since Miami is a beast in the fastbreak. IND ave 16 TO in the playoffs.

I think IND can pull this off. They have 2 competent bigs. Bosh will have to step up and keep them away from the paint so LBJ/Wade can penetrate. He (Bosh) have 2 fouls this early. Not a good start.

basta, di talaga papayag si Stern na Spurs vs Pacers. So you can be 99% sure that Miami will win this series whether tulungan sila ng refs or not. Pero sana naman wag na puro flops ang Heat players. Kaya naman nila manalo kahit wala yun so they should do away with the flopping

Decided to play the odds game tomorrow to make it exciting for me.

Miami is -7.5 vs Indiana (8 pts to win).  Placed my bet on the Pacers.  They will keep it close and just might do a Bulls upset as Miami has the proclivity of losing game 1s.

Total set at 182.5.  I placed UNDER.  This will a game hovering in the low 90's for both teams.

Let's get it on ;D

me pag asa ito ah, lamang sa halftime ang indiana 42-37

refs are pretty fair up to this point. let's see during the 4th quarter. The IND bigs are doing good so Mia can't go small
