Cognrats to the Spurs! Very impressive sweep of the Grizzlies.

Checked this out of curiosity, although these stats won't really matter in the Finals, esp. if it's MIA who advances in the East (Commish, you know what to do :)):

SA won both regular season match-ups against IND in a pair of early games in November (including a 22-point rout at SA).

On the other hand, SA lost both regular season games against MIA - the first one at MIA, when Coach Pop decided to rest his Big 3, and the second one at SA on Bosh's buzzer-beating trey and with James and Wade not playing.

yeah, both times the Spurs and Heat met, parehong di sineryoso nung dalawa. This will be a different case na. And of course, the Players will be their chess pieces.

Extend it to 7games para may filler while waiting for the NBA finals. hehe

^ enough na daw with the drama bro works, matanda na sila duncan for emotions.. Kaya tinapos na, hehe..

Ayos yun.

$9million lang sweldo pero still producing at a high level. Very admirable guy. Sana magkaroon pa ng players like him.

Masusubukan talaga si Coach Spo against Coach Popovich, if ever. I hope Coach Spo will be up to it, lalo na't lamang siya sa personnel IMO. It'll be a HUGE achievement for him as a coach if he bags a title for MIA against someone like Coach Popovich and his veteran squad.

Jordan gets Lakers Asst Coach Steve Clifford as new head coach of Bobcats.

I think the Bobcats need better players, not a new coach.  They're one of the worst teams in the NBA for quite some time now.

Pop is coaching his tail off this season.  Very impressive!  Best coach all time for me.  Duncan is playing great but the one player that is making the Spurs team click is Tony Parker.  I wonder if Lebron would take the challenge of guarding Parker in the finals.  ;D

baka....mapagod agad  si Lebron kay Parker hehehe.....I think Wade can \do it,.....pero si Parker talaga ang alas ng Spurs, if you can guard him....you'll have a good chance of beating the Spurs Hooray for TMAC!!!!!

MJ knows best...says no one ever! haha

Here are MJ's picks:

Kwame Brown #1
Okafor #2
Felton and Sean May (the future! LOL)
Adam Morrison! Woooh! and Ryan Hollins
D.J. Augustin
Gerald Henderson

and these are only the draft picks. pag sinali pa natin mga trade decisions...nakupo. Getting a washed up Magette, trading Gerald Wallace for Pryzbilla, Dante Cunningham and Sean Marks (to save money and draft/sign more incapable players), signing Okafor for $72million for 6 years when all he has is decent defense for an undersized center then trading him for Tyson Chandler...only to trade Chandler to the Mavs for Najera and Dampier! and then they traded for Desagna Diop. diop ko po.

God bless the Charlotte Hornets. :D

Okafor(2004), Sean May(2005) and Felton(2005) were drafted before Jordan(2006) joined the Bobcats though.  Ryan Hollins was a 50th pick so not really that terrible.

Mike Conley did well against CP3.  So is it TP>Conley>CP3?

Re: horncats
magette trade/ g-wallace trade - not bad from a rebuilding standpoint
henderson - not a bad pick, not a good pick either
jordan as GM/owner - not the worst ever (worst would be kahn or sterling or someone from late 90's/early 2000's GSW)

2013 outlook - tank early for Wiggins

Mike Conley did well against CP3.  So is it TP>Conley>CP3?

This playoffs Yes. After the Finals if SAS wins, then TP >>> HEAT Guards. :)

Not unless Wade does this to him:

Might remind TP about his ex-teammate BB (Bruce Bowen) ;D

Anyway its like my view with Carmelo/Jr.Smith, Conley can be "good" but will never win as a main man, or aasahan ng Team. (unless proven otherwise)

Si CP3 with the right system he could win, on the other hand not Conley.

hehe I didn't say he's the worst. di lang magaling talaga.

G-Wallace trade could have been better if only the subsequent moves were fruitful pero sobrang walang nangyari sakanila after that trade. Henderson is so-so pero sayang pa din sa draft. Skipped on Holiday, Ty Lawson, Jeff Teague etc. Mahina scouting ng Hornets. But I hope they do become competitive soon.

Think about this. Tim Duncan has a chance to be an NBA Finals MVP in three different decades.

Ah, hindi pala ikaw sir. Eto pala yung comment, nahukay ko pa.  ;D

Uy nahukay mo pa pala ito bro.  There's my name on it hahaha.

Again, depends on point of reference.  Maybe you're referring to this article, 5 worst owners in the NBA http://msn.foxsports.com/nba/lists/NBA-five-worst-owners-2011#tab=photo-title=Michael+Jordan%252C+Charlotte+Bobcats&photo=30295019 where Jordan is 3rd and Sterling is WOAT.

My basis then was the 2012-13 W/L record of the Bobcats where they went 7-59 in the season, a winning percentage of .106 -- the worst winning percentage in NBA history. http://www.nbauniverse.com/statistics/worst_seasons.htm The previous mark (.110) was held by the 1972-73 Philadelphia 76ers, who went 9-73.  One can argue though that it was a short season due to the lockout.  Only 66 games.  Had it been 82, Bobcats could've done worse.

And we can't deny the fact that this was due mainly on Jordan's poor decisions, getting rid of talent and inability to get the right blend of players.

Drafted Kwame, got a joke named Diop, Passed up Rudy Gay and Brandon Roy by getting Adam Morrison, Traded G Wallace, Okafor, Traded Rip, Traded Tyson Chandler, and the list goes on...

Throwback Tuesday: This was more than 10 years ago, after a 2003 EC playoff game between Orlando and Detroit and before James was drafted #1 out of HS. TMac was the league-leader in PPG then and made All-NBA First Team. Will they meet again? :)

Incidentally, the Spurs became the champions that year. Finals MVP si Timmy D. :)
